About this item

  • Strong Adhesion & No Residue: GMKbuy gaff tape offers more strength and holding power, unlike other tapes. The 11-Mil thick coating of adhesive gives it better strength to adhere instantly and on removal, it will not leave any residue behind
  • Resilience & Durability: This weatherproof and waterproof 2 inch white gaffers tape is made of vinyl-coated heavy-duty cotton cloth that can withstand a tensile strength of 54lbs per inch and temperatures of 50 to 200 degrees F
  • Easy-Tear: The fine mesh gaffing tape is easy to rip or cut with bare hands. Cut into thin and thick lengths for quick fittings for venue stages, minor home repairs, office organizations, and various installations
  • Non-Reflective: The white gaffers tape has a matte white finish that does not reflect light and blends completely into the background which means it will not interfere with the visuals so your taped up cords and wires will remain unnoticed
  • Multi-Function Use: Cotton cloth gafer’s tape is primarily used in film, TV, media, or music production houses. It is also ideal for securing cables and audio/visual wires, marking floors, stage setting for any organized event, bookbinding & more

Be Hazard Free

Cables can be a hazard as people could easily trip over them and have a nasty fall. The wires can be firmly affixed to the floor with Gaffers tape, thus lowering accidents. And when it is time to remove the cables and wires, the tape will not leave them sticky as duct tape would.

Mark Positions

Great use of Gaffers tape is in positional marking. When the camera needs to be positioned at the same place more than once, it helps to place the camera at the same place every time. It is also commonly used in the theater industry to mark positions on the floor's surface to indicate where props are supposed to go. It is often used in the theater and TV industries to mark actors' starting.

Keep the objects secure on the surface

The rubber-based adhesive sticks tenaciously but doesn't leave residue behind when it is removed and won't harm most surfaces. All these aspects of the gaffer's tape make it perfect for many woodworking activities.

I used this to block light for pinhole cameras and my sheet film holders. It does not stick stick to anything long. It peels up within a day.

I was required to bring a roll of black gaff to an event, and I wanted something cheap. It's not a terribly big roll, and it's not the most super amazing gaff, but its tape if you don't want to shell out for something else. I did find it a bit harder to tear than other gaff.

My partner isn't the greatest at DIY but, after watching one online video this became her obsession. I was told to buy it, but the DIY failed spectacularly and I'm still laughing. Since then, I use it as itwas intended and it's great gaffer tape. Happy I have it.

This low quality thin gaffers tape knock-off with weak adhesive was fine for my art project needs, but certainly should never be used or confused with real gaff tape. If you actually want decent tape, spend $8 more and get the real stuff.

This tape is very sticky and strong. I haven't had it on for a long time, so I'm not sure if the adhesion will have any left over residue over time.

I bought this tape for securing Ethernet cables in my home office. I wasn't even aware that this stuff was a thing. LOL I found it when searching for replacement upgraded Ethernet cables. Gaffer tape was listed in the "Recommended for you" section. Voila. A perfect solution to keeping the long lengths of cable secure along the walls between router, computer, printer, etc.I laid down a few strips of the tape on my painted wood floor, tested the removal. It works fine. No sticky residue. I'll check it again in a few days and then again at a week or two. If stickiness starts, up it comes. The reason I need to check is because one 10' length of one wall has a floor-to-ceiling window. The taped cabling lies in the 1" framing trim at the bottom of the window and is in full morning sun for several hours. I feel this could present a sticky problem over time.My only negative is the sticky sides of the tape roll. Other reviews have pictures of this. The tape comes with side "covers" which don't really stay put, so I resolved it a different way. I cut a square piece of Glad Cling Wrap for each side of the tape roll, pressed the cling wrap on the roll, and trimmed the sides. Done. No sticky sides accumulating dirt and no interference unrolling the tape.My only caution with this tape is it's very sticky. If it overlaps itself while tearing, that piece is trash. I had zero luck trying to cut the tape. Like duct tape, it's best to use a really sharp knife or simply tear it.

I have no idea what some of the reviewers are talking about when they say this tape doesn't stick to anything. Maybe they're trying to stick it on things that aren't a flat surface?I can tell you that this tape is plenty sticky - it's almost duct-tapey. Yet it comes off very clean and smooth with no residue left over. Definitely would recommend this if you need that sort of tape.
