The tape doesn’t even stick to itself. The material is good but the adhesive on this is weak for $10 and a giant roll I bought. It doesn’t have to be as strong as duct tape, but I will likely end up tossing this.

Gaffer's tape is generally a cloth-type tape with a fairly strong webbing. This is more like glorified masking tape. The color is nice (trying to affix some cables for Ring cameras to the walls indoors), but that's about it. Even after testing with some areas of the walls that were cleaned with alcohol it only stuck for a few days before falling off. Pretty much completely useless and false advertising (it's clearly not gaffer's tape!).

This is okay gaff. The adhesion isn't perfect, but it rips well and stays put for the most part.

I purchased this and a yellow version to use as tape for agility poles. Very nice colours and good stick to the PVC but doesn’t stick to itself. I had to cut it exactly on the line if I wanted it to work but you see the white line. Great feel to the tape though, nice and rough almost.

Tends to peel off on smooth surfaces like aluminum. Used to seal the joint between the internal door (for RV) and a plexi panel installed in the mosquito net so as not to pierce the door with fasteners.

Sticky but not so bad it tears paint and best of all leaves no sticky residue

I used this to tape up focus rings and cover shutter dial on my still camera when shooting studio work. It sticks well and doesn't seem to leave any residue and therefore it does what's expected. Does that earn 5 stars? I guess so.

The only thing you need to know about this tape is that it has very low adhesion. I like that for when I need to remove it, but it's not ideal for long term labels. Otherwise, it's decent tape.
