Got a promotion to superintendent and needed a set of scale rules to run the site work side of the project then the actual building of the project. Due to issues with my sight I needed something with a high contrast and these have just that. I love the laser etched instead of painted markings. The color contrast of the place powder coating and the laser etched aluminum make for a great contrast and are clear, concise and easy to see. My boss liked them so much he bought him a set. I love that they are all aluminum and not plastic. The weight of them helps hold the pages down on breezy days. I checked them against a few of the other guys rules and they seem to be very accurate.I will say the only issue I had was with the pens. There is no issue with quality, craftsmanship or function. They just don’t use the kind of ink I prefer so I changed the cartridges out and it is now perfect for me.

I bought these because of the multiple measurements. They are a lifesaver and would make any project easier. Especially good for figuring out scale.

Writing tools were Very plastic hollow and cheap and for that reason we returned because there are better options out there.

I bought this as a Father's day gift. He's starting his own construction business and has to do a lot more planning/drawing of his projects then ever before. He is the type I can never buy for either since I'm not the handy type, when it comes to tools. He loved it! He has used the rulers several times and was happy to have 3 of them and the converts on the back.The pens were perfect as well and very unique so hard for anyone to "mistake" as their own lol
