By the beginning of the 20th century Westcott was one of the top companies in the industry, selling products across the globe. Westcott was bought in 1968 by Acme United Corporation which today operates out of Fairfield, Connecticut.

I think that the accuracy might have been a little off, I always struggled with nailing the ASA problems. I would re-check my measurements and come up with the same answers.That said, it got me through ASA 105 and I think if I needed to use it for emergency navigation it would do it's job.

I'm taking a course in celestial navigation. This is a basic tool for that purpose, and fill the need nicely.
