It is a perfect and non obtrusive way of having a space to hang a small amount of clothing or towels out yo dry and it folds easily back into its cover when not in use

I love this drying rack. It folds up almost flat so it is stylish; when opened it is amazing. You can lay clothes on it or change them from the racks. Very versatile.

1. Great product, well built, neat design that collapses when not in use.2. Installation requires planning & care. The supplied template is required & helpful. Tape the template securely to your wall and be very precise in centering a mark, punch, etc. in each of the 8 holes. You will need all 8 to have a secure mount.3. Be sure you have clearance on each side when it is fully opened BEFORE you install.4. I chose to use a more secure wall anchor than the ones supplied. The Toggler Snaptoggle or Fliptoggle, or similar (check YouTube if you're unfamiliar with) are very easy to install and provide a far more secure anchor than skiken provided.5. You need 2 people to install it once you've drilled holes and installed anchors.6. To secure to the wall, open the rack - obviously - to install the screws. Start with the 2 top outer holes, get screws started but do not tighten all the way. Take care and be patient to get all 8 started and then take your time securing them to the wall.7. Took about 30 mins to install (maybe you'll better than me!) but the finished product is what my wife wanted.

Best ever for my laundry closet. The bars are great for hanging pants without a hanger. Dry shoes or sweaters and shirts go on hangers. Love it.

Kind of tricky to screw in screws. Need at least 2 people to install. Love it!!!! Sturdy and well made.

We purchased the 40" rack. We almost returned it because this thing is long and heavy! The smaller version just wouldn't have enough room for drying things for us. We decided to give it a try, and we are happy we did. We installed a piece of wood, and then installed the rack over it for stability. This allowed us to be able to screw the wood into all the beams. If we didn't use the wood, we would have only been able to screw the first two set of holes into the beam, and then we would have to use molly screws for the rest of them. We felt this was just not secure enough for us. I have enclosed pictures to show you how we installed it. Basically the wood was installed with long screws into the studs. Then we installed the rack into the wood. It seems very sturdy and secure. We are happy how it looks when it is closed. We have a small laundry room (off the kitchen), and it got annoying stepping around, or moving floor drying rack all the time. This turns out to be a great solution.

If you have limited space in your laundry room/area, this is a great drying rack. I ended up mounting this above a window so I'd have the header to screw into. If I was trying to install this and trying to hit studs, I'd recommend mounting this to a stringer that you can screw into multiple studs. It will potentially end up carrying a lot of weight with wet sweaters and the like. Because of the thin depth of the rack, you definitely don't want to depend on drywall hangers, even if using heavy duty hangers. Using a wider stringer or being able to put multiple fasteners into studs can help distribute the weight. So far, I've been able to put probably 10-12# of wet clothes on it and it doesn't bend. You do need to be smart how you load it. So put heavier items closer to the wall, lighter items further out. The biggest downside to this drying rack is the lame design on it. I actually painted a couple of coats of white paint to match my trim to get rid of the old-grandma print on it.
