It took me a while to get around to reviewing this because I honestly didn't think it was going to hold up. I was wrong. Months later this thing is still doing it's job. The joints are still tight, it doesn't sag, all the hardware/clips are still nice. It's a really good addition to our laundry room.

this is a seriously heavy-duty rack. you can park a truck on this thing! no issues holding whatever you need.

This has made my laundry routine much more organized. No more wet sweaters hanging in every room. In the days that follow I wont be searching from room to room for the sweater I'd forgotten about.The product itself looks like it could have been made for a laundry business. It’s much more heavy duty than I would have expected. You can see from the rack and the hardware chosen to mount it that at least one person involved planned and prioritized durability and security.

Hoimpro Clothes Drying Rack is Retractable. Extends out to about 50 inches. Very heavy duty. Comes with 20 metal clips that have plastic ends so they don't rust or stain clothes.It has multiple arms so you can pull it straight for lighter items, like underwear and shorts. Or configure it so it's "zig-zag" and easy to hang heavier items closest to the wall mount.I don't have it mounted yet, but will update the review with photos once I do have it mounted. Easy to install, with detailed instruction manual (with diagrams) and all the heavy duty mounting hardware.The main thing I like, it is folds out of the way, against the wall. I live in an HOA and we can't hang laundry in the yard, so this is in my patio area. Out of sight and out of the way. A PERFECT SOLUTION.I could also see this used inside in an apartment bathroom.

I got this for the bathroom to dry hand-washed clothes, as an upgrade to hanging over the shower rod. For fewer things it can be partially extended. This is quite sturdy and arms hold their position well (good resistance in joints). It can take a good bit of weight on the arm. When not in use it compacts to less than 4" from wall and can still have a few things hanging on it. It can be folded to the left or right of mounting bracket. This provides a good deal of space for hangers of all kinds, and many small items like socks. Wall plate is thick and sturdy. This is a little pricey.Minor gripes:- No normal wood screws included. I don't think the anchors will have the kind of hold that threads of a long screw would.- Would be nice if it had center holes in bracket to put in stud, with anchors at sides.- Clothes clips are semi-sharp on the top due to metal edges.
