It's just the solution we were looking for as temporary hangers for laundry fresh out of the dryer. My only issues are the plastic part which has to hold all of that leverage at the pressure-points of the mounting screws (we're being careful not to "test" it) and that the mounting holes are not at a standard stud spacing. I added a backing board attached to the studs, and mounted this to that board.

I have a very small laundry room, not even a room, but I like to hang my good items to dry, even though they can be washed and dried. This wall mounted rack is a good alternative. It opens a little differently from others I've had. Once mounted on the wall, the front sections open and the hanging rods slide into position. To close, simply push them back into the storage area and close the two arms. Leaving you with a small unit, until you need it again. Unfortunately, I could not find a good spot to hang it in my pass-through laundry that didn't interfere with a door. So I will save it till spring and find a spot on my patio where it will be available when needed.
