I ordered this wall mount drying rack to replace a large one I had on wheels that I could never find a good place to store it. This one is convenient since it mounts to the wall and folds up nearly flat. I love the little knobs on the outside for hanging a bag of pins or something that looks nice such as dried herbs on the outside when it is stored.I haven’t installed it yet since I am currently working to put up new wallpaper in the area it is going in but when I do, it’s going to be easy with the included template. It also comes with all the hardware you need to include drywall anchors for a permanent installation that will hold quite a lot of weight. The build quality of the unit is middle of the road. I’ve owned something similar to this in the past that is much more durable but doesn’t fold up as flat.The best way to use it is to open the front and then open the rails on the inside by using the two metal arms. Otherwise, the bars can turn sideways and fall out. As concerning price, it is priced less than some but it is also not quite as heavy duty. This was the reason for the removal of stars. It is low profile but you pay for that with awkward opening. Even so, I am glad I ordered it since it looks nice and will hold quite a lot of clothes.

We have a small laundry room that we’re always looking to make more use of and this is perfect. The install was simple and it’s fool proof since it comes with a template. I love that it can be used for two purposes and it isn’t bulky. We use it as a drying clothes rack and as hooks.

The most wear and tear on clothing occurs when you put them in the dryer which is why I hang dry a lot of my clothing. However I often find myself short on space even though I have a few folding drying racks. Now with this new drying rack installed on the wall, I have just enough space to hang dry a normal load of laundry. The quality of the rack is good and the install was fairly simple. The way this rack folds in and opens is a little odd and awkward, but it does seem to be the best way to take up as little space as possible when folded in. Other methods would require the rack to fold up or down and would take up more visible wall space when not in use. I think the price matches well with the quality of the item which is more than adequate for personal home use.

This rack is super clever.My wife ordered a string to go across the laundry room and as everyone knows, wives always like to be right. She copped that attitude as soon as I told her I had a different rack coming for us to try instead.The rack showed up and she instantly had to start making negative comments...like they typically do when they have risk of being wrong. I put it up on the wall in the open state....kind of setting her up for the big triumphant finish. As predicted, she complained that it stuck out too far (which she later had to admit it didn't). As she was running her mouth I closed the unit up with almost no effort and the whole thing was now nicely against the wall above our washing machine and really looked like it was designed to be in this house. You could see the internal battle happening. She loved it, but saying that would mean I was right. There was a LOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG silence while this struggle ensued and she finally caved. She never said the words "you're right", but she did finally say "that actually is really nice".At that point I took it upon myself to remind her of my superiority while I permanently mounted it to the wall. I also let her know that we had room for another one over the dryer if she wanted to have two things to remind her of my greatness.I'll also say that our guest room is a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be.

Maybe it's just me, as it's a niche sort of product, but I think this is genius in design. This is a slim coat hook the bulk of the time, but if you need it for drying, then the front opens up in the middle and then hanging rods pull out allowing you to hang dry towels or other clothes. We'll be putting ours into a changing room in a shed/poolhouse which will be lacking in space, so this will fit the bill perfectly. For now, we're using it in our laundry room, and I could see it being placed in a bathroom as well as another option, fold it up when guests are over or so it's out of the way, but then if you need a place to hang dry some towels, just extend out the hanging rack.The machining is actually quite precise, the gap is minimal, the rods glide smoothly, it doesn't feel janky in the least. I like they even included a hanging/drilling template. It is pretty much all metal so I could see a need to potentially add lubrication and possibly paint here and there, but out of the box it all worked smoothly.It's overall decent looking; it's not the prettiest thing in the world, but it's not gaudy either, I'd love to see more style options in the future, but as-is it's perfectly neutral to fit into most bathrooms and laundry rooms.
