I bought these to relieve my foot pain from plantar fasciitis. They work. They support the arch enough to gently reform it bit not make it painful. There are 4 different inserts for them with different arch heights so you can find the right support for your feet. Great product. I recommend it

Update: I’ve been playing around with these and other inserts for a while and these are great! They are my new favorite! The best thing, besides pain relief, is that they are adjustable for the type of shoe. I use the low arch support in sneakers that already have an arch and max arch support for boots and shoes with a flat- no arch support. My foot size is a mens 11, but I tried a 10, 11 and 12 to see what I like best. So my favorite size is the 11 suggested for my foot size, duh… Tip- if you have heel pain and walk heel heavy like me, try flat shoes with no heel (low or zero drop shoes). It helps take the strike point away from the backside of the heel and creates more of a flat heel strike.Original review:I had mild heel pain for years. Finally, when the pain got much worse, I went to the podiatrist and was diagnosed with “Achilles tendinitis”. The pain was around the outside bottom area of both my heels. Just above where my heels meet the floor. The podiatrist told me the tendons wrap around the bottom of the heel... I tried every heel stretch, exercise, yoga pose, leg stretch, massages, pulsating massage machine, night splint, stretching machine, heel lifts, every Achilles tendinitis treatment I could find for over 3 years! Nothing worked... I came to the conclusion it wasn’t Achilles tendinitis and started trying orthopedic inserts. So far I’ve tried over 30 brands of insole inserts and these are 2nd best for my heel pain. They are awesome! They change the way my heel strikes the ground. It moves the strike point forward toward the arch and away from the backside of my heel. And when standing it puts more weight forward towards the arch and off the heel. Although I still have minor irritation, the improvement is tremendous. Also if you have a similar issue, be sure to order the correct size. The larger size moves the arch support forward where it’s less effective for reducing heel weight. I’m thinking of trying a size smaller and see if it works even better.Tips: put the Walkfits under the inserts the shoes come with (much more comfortable and moves heel weight forward more effectively). Do not put thick inserts with thick heel cushion over the Walkfit, thin ones work much better. Smaller sizes work better, I purchased 3 sizes and want to try an even smaller one. They are uncomfortable at first, but quickly became very very comfortable, I don’t like regular shoes anymore. They sit differently in different types of shoes, shoes with built in high arch support (sneakers) work better than flat type.Keep the weight off the back of your heel! If you’re like me, you probably need to change the way you walk. And give your heel time to heal. I walked very heel heavy and now walk more smoothly.I hope this helps someone out there. Good luck! And purchase these inserts.

A couple months back I took a factory job where I am on my feet walking the whole shift - most of the time at a fast pace - shuffling parts where they need to go. Recently I started having right knee pain and left hip pain. Swelling and stiffness that only got worse pretty quickly over a few days. I could tell that I was going to walk myself into some serious knee damage. I couldn't help but slow down and start limping a bit. I even missed some days in a row because as I told the boss "I've got to get off this knee". That's when I got serious about addressing the problem. First I tried a quality knee brace - that helped a bit but the underlying strain on whatever ligament was still there and doing damage. Then I added some national brand gel shoe inserts from that Wally land. Oh my feet were feeling real good with those inserts but that strain on my knee ligament was still there and doing damage.I'd say almost all adults have had a medical problem that gets bad enough that THEY WILL TRY ANYTHING! That was me and that's when I saw the infomerical for Walkfit Platinum Orthotics. I never, ever buy "As Seen On TV" stuff but they had me - I was willing to try anything. I didn't call the infomercial 800 number, I went straight to Amazon, found the Walkfit orthotics here and took a chance.Ladies and gentlemen, please excuse my all caps but - I'M A BELIEVER! THESE THINGS WORK! I've only wore them a few days at work but the knee and hip difference is profound. Swelling - gone! Pain - gone! Stiffness - gone! My knee can bend and flex, my hip wasn't my major problem but it works like a hip now, it doesn't hurt. I'm now shoving parts and keeping up with the youngsters at work (I'm 54) and work is FUN again! I should add that I do still wear my knee brace - Walkfit and the knee brace complement each other very nicely.Folks, I have no idea why a shoe orthotic could help a knee or hip. We'd have to ask the doctors. As a human being I can tell that it changes my walking gate, that the muscle and ligament alignment has changed up, the stress on the pain point has shifted away ever so slightly.I'm sorry to say that in my opinion these orthotics might not be a best match for all people. Do I think Walkfit orthotics are soothing to my feet? No. Absolutely not! I'd dare say they are uncomfortable, but not in a terrible way. I'd compare walking a shift on Walkfits to wearing no orthotics at all. Your feet are going to hurt either way. Young people, nurses, waitresses, factory workers, etc who are just looking for comfort for tired sore feet that walk on tile or concrete their whole work shift might be better served with a quality gel shoe insert. Walkfits are rigid foot arch supports with hardly any give - but that's the whole point of them. They adjust the way your feet step ever so slightly and what was hurting in your lower body gets some relief. As we all recall: the foot bone connects to the leg bone, the leg bone connects to the thigh bone, the thigh bone connects to the... Well, you all know the story. For you folks that are in a similar situation as I am - I say give them a try.I was not compensated for this review. Walkfit company doesn't know I exist. I didn't know they existed until a few days ago when I was flipping channels and chanced upon their early AM infomercial.
