This jug is exactly what I needed. It’s high quality and durable. Those complaining about it not being rated for fuel, need to first, look at the color…. Second, read the description. People saying it’s falsely advertised are not comprehending what they are reading. Nowhere in the description does it state it’s for fuel. The manufacturer is “VP Racing Fuels”….. that’s the manufacturer, not the description…. Transporting fuel in a blue container is actually illegal….. I purchased this jug to store and dispense DEF. DEF is a non-flammable liquid, and this jug is perfect for it. If I wanted to store or transport diesel or gasoline, I’d choose a yellow or red jug, as that’s what those colors are for. I’ve been using VP fuel jugs for decades, and they always perform as needed.

This container is a little thicker than practically every one that I've seen on the market plus it has a large cap making it easy to open. It has a small relief cap behind the main one, this will allow what every liquid you have to flow freely and quickly unlike the new containers with all of the government mandated safety garbage on it to slow the flow down.These are also made in the U.S.A. which is a huge plus with me, I try to buy American when I can you never know the job you save may end up being your own. You see these at the drag race events so you know they work, just give one a try you won't be disappointed.I know it says not for fuel but that is just to cover their butts from being sued by somebody using the container in a stupid and unsafe manner and then suing the company for their own stupidity. That's why we have all of these cans without relief valves on them now.
