Very thick and strong. Much better than the ones that come with nozzles. I just use these and funnels now. No more nozzles.

The gas cap does not seal, gasket leaks because the gasket is too small and the cap itself is too deep, the gasket falls onto threads and makes it difficult to thread onto gas can because you have to fight the gasket and threads as they bind.

Heavy duty caps; fits my new Costco gas cans. Replaced the safety spouts that are so safe they’re unusable!!!

I was concerned to see no reviews when I ordered these 6 universal coarse these lids by Besotdn. They look good, with nice , well fitting gasket. I have a large generator, and quite a few gas cans, in 2, 2.5, 5 and 6 gallon size. So far I have found them to fir on the Eagle 2.5 gallon cans, and to not fit on a Blitz 5 gallon can.The problem on the Blitz is that, although the thread is good, the cap is too tall; it hits bottom on the can before the gasket make contact with rim of the can's spout.Several possibilities' exist to remedy the problem, but since these fir some of my cans, I will just look for another, not so tall lid.
