Well made. Wanted a bigger propane tank for cooking outdoors on my 22 inch Blackstone griddle. Got tired of buying the 1 lb cooking bottles of propane. Hopefully this will last much longer and I'll be able to refill it and be more convenient. The cost of this purchase was higher than the cost of replacing the small 1 lb propane bottles, but in the long run it will pay for itself in less hassle and more time cooking and enjoying ourselves camping in our great State Park Campgrounds.

This smaller tank fit very well with my small vintage trailer and seemed just perfect. On our last camping trip, we had tested the tank the night before and it was fine. Got to our camping spot, and IT WAS NOT FINE. No propane would come out. We even made sure we hadn't run out of propane and took it to a re-fill place - this tank is FULL. So, now we have a nice little tank of propane that DOESN"T WORK! Rumors have it that these smaller propane tanks fail early on....... very disappointed.........

Surprisingly costly, but it’s great quality. It happens to be the perfect diameter to fit the drawer system in the back of my Tacoma. The smaller size is much easier to move around and can be handled quite easily by my girlfriend. No regrets, it’s a quality fuel tank and has a very practical size and capacity for camping and road trips.

Fits the bill perfectly. I camp in and from my van frequently and don't feel like fiddling with the refill options for the 1lb. tanks. My primary use is to run my Little Buddy propane heater with a 5' extension hose/adaptor. The one-pound bottles won't make it through a night on the lowest setting. I also use this tank to run my gas fire pit. With gas fire pits usually exempt from the frequent fire bans this combo works great. I fill up at a Costco with a propane station and it is ridiculously cheap. Throw it on your list and when you see the price drop.....jump on it.

this is in response to a recent order of mine re: propane ther must be a better way of describing propane tank capacities so orders do not get fouled up.eg.a 40lb tank capacity is 42.8 litres a 20lb tank capacity is 21.4 litres. I think that if the measurement was done in this manner clarification would be much easier for everyone concerned.thanks. donald porter

While this tank costs more than a 20lb tank, it's size makes transport, storage and use well worth the cost. We use this with a heater in a small goose blind so size is a big consideration. Transporting the tank in a SUV is easy and it doesn't take up a lot of room in the garage.

Good size to reduce the tongue weight for my camper. Two of these should cover a 5 day trip for me. Lost one star having to search the label to confirm the tank needed to be purged for the first use. The propane filling station was questioning it because they said most new tanks were already purged these days, and there was no clear label saying it was needed. The statement is buried halfway through the paragraph on the tank label.
