Pipe was fine. The flange however is faulty. The rubber ring between the flange and pipe is suppose to friction fit to the pipe to keep the flange firm against the ceiling. It failed to do. I do not recommend this product.

This is a good extension shower arm. The distance it gives between the wall and the shower head is pretty good. It will easily accept majority of shower heads in the market today. Other than that, it's made very well with solid threading that will easily screw on to your current pipe. The side with the most threads goes to your supply copper pipe. The other side would be easy for your shower thread which only needs a few threads to screw on. It is easily installed, and it comes with everything you need for a simple installation. As for the external finish, it's done perfectly with no blemishes at all to the thick chrome finish. Overall, this is one perfect extension that you'll need for making sure that the modern shower head hits you directly from above. This is well worth it for the quality it has and the easy way to install it.

Looks great nice smooth, clean, finish installs very easily. My only advice. Make sure you measure wherever you plan on installing it. I personally thought 10 inches was going to be too small or just right once I got it installed. It was almost too big for my application. I’m probably eventually going to scale down to a six or an 8 inch but that’s not to say that it’s any fault with the product it’s holding up great no leaks and looks amazing. And a great value for the money.

I got this to use with my regular style shower setup, a pipe coming out of the wall. It screws in just fine and I haven’t had any issues. No directions included and I wasn’t sure where to put the filter so I just didn’t use it.

I actually got this to use as a part of a DIY industrial pipe project to hold a pendant light, and it worked perfectly and looks great! Very pleased with it!

This shower arm is pretty normal compared to the hardware store arms I've had in the house. The flange has a loose seal around the arm, which I'm not sure would really do anything, especially after some time and water exposure. It doesn't stay on the wall because of this loose fit, so you'll want to use caulk or similar to seal the outer edge.

This shower arm with flange is well-made with quality materials and a smooth finish. The connections are clean with no burrs, making installation easy. It fits the standard 1/2 NPT perfectly, just add some tape and screw it in. No leaks and works perfectly with my ceiling-mounted rain shower head. Highly recommend!
