Looks like the intake box was glued together by children and alignment on the lid screws barely line up. Also the maf port is not flat what so ever. Been fighting issues with tuning for 2 years and the whole time it was this intake causing problems. Do not buy this garbage intake!

Fast and easy installation if you’re mechanically inclined, this really adds a sound to the vehicle! Normal sound while driving nice, once the pedal is pressed a little more than normal it comes to life! 6.2 Yukon XL and along with the performance tune update or flash tune update or chip it really added a better pedal response! Haven’t had it long enough to notice fuel mileage difference! But it really sounds good!!

2018 GMC Sierra Denali 6.2LSeems like a lot of money but I was surprised at the change in sound. It’s as quiet as stock when you are easy on the throttle. Step down on the throttle and I was shocked to her the roar of the engine! My wife says it’s stupid but I get an uncontrollable grin every time I have to get on it a bit. Love it. I did add 4, 1” hose clamps to hold the crank case vent hoses on. Probably not necessary but I didn’t want them coming off.

Fit and Finish was/is second to none. Instructions were detailed nicely and everything was of good quality.No discernable difference in Mileage - but cant keep my foot out of it. Doesnt really sound all that much different, at part throttle ramp in situations you can hear a noise but once it goes into PE, all i hear it the open cutout on my 6.2.10/10 would recommend - great data at Black Bear

Mileage didn’t change at all if anything got a little worse lol. I’ve owned a lot of intakes this one is by far the loudest...I wouldn’t say this is a CAI as it has cut outs in the box to the engine bay..also the cover dosent fit nice and rubber grommets for screws don’t seal holes. It’s an ok intake I might go back to stock but it does sound animal lol. hasn’t really done anything different then stock other than add growl. If that’s what your after this is the one.

Love the Volant CIA. This is my second one. Find the quality to be better than most and the performance just as good. Love the power core filter. The time it took to get in the mail, as well as the phone calls I placed to inquire why it was not shipping even though it was in stock was not so good. I don’t know if I ever would have received it if not for a great amazon customer service rep.

Whoa!!! There is a Tiger under my hood!! I installed this CAI before the Corsa Sport exhaust and I'm glad that I did because it gave me the opportunity to experience how the two build upon one another. So once the Volant CAI was installed it was pretty uneventful, I performed a startup and nothing... sounded the same and I was thinking oh well as long as it allows more air I'm good. I didn't disconnect the battery which is advised, so it did shimmy and vibrate while the MAF was re-calibrated. So then I went for a drive which at first was uneventful... and then I heard this deep roar, that I had never heard before so I looked for the car next to me making this incredible sound. What!? Could it be... so after the next stop I punched and yep! It was me, WHOA!! The Volant was alive!! Looks great, sounds great! Build quality and filter light years above K&N, and those other competitors.

Vendor service was great. The box arrived with one side caved in, but there was no damage to the components themselves. The only issue I have is with the product. The intake I ordered with the upgrade Donaldson air filter has a problem when trying to install/remove the filter from the the air box. The filter is too large to fit through the air box opening without either removing the velocity stack from the inside of the box, or deforming the filter & forcing it through the opening. Once installed though...great!
