This K&N cold air intake system is engineered for your vehicle. K&N has never failed me. I've used their oil and air filters for years. This impresses me with better sound and slightly improved gas mileage on my 05 G36 sedan

The installation instructions are great and I was comfortable changing out the stock air intake for this. My only issue is the hose clamps that came with the unit were big enough to even go over the solid hose let alone the rubber connections so I ended up using the stock hose clamps. It mounted fairly easily after establishing I could use the stock clamps.I paired this with a K&N RX-4990DL Blue Air Filter Wrap as well as added a Blox Racing (BXIM-40201) 5/16" Thermal Shield Manifold Spacer and a chip reprogram. With stock exhaust the grumble at 2000 - 3000 rpm is very nice and at 4700+ rpm is amazing. Noticeable difference in exhaust and engine sound. It also looks sweet when you raise the hood compared to stock.

I installed the air intake on my 05 G35 coupe and it works great. It was super easy to install and it looks great under the hood as well.

Easily the best purchase I've made for my 2005 G35 Sedan.The sound of this thing is nothing like the stock air induction system. Dont even bother upgrading the exhaust, the sound of this is all you'll ever need. Its got a nice deep tone to it and the assembly looks really clean under the hood.Took about 45 mins to install. Only complaint, as others have mentioned, the clamps do not fit the throttle body or the MAFS. Which just means you need to find 2 clamps that are slightly bigger (which I had laying around in the garage).Overall great purchase, look forward to seeing some possible MPG improvement (if I can keep my foot out of it listening to its amaaaazing sound).

I bought this intake for my 2003 G35 sedan in hopes to make my engine noise slightly louder and nicer. I am blown away with how much different my car sounds now. The first 5000 rpms it's a nice low rumble, almost a hum, but after 5000 rpms it screams at you and makes quite a nice sound. In fact, I haven't even listened to music in my car since I put this intake in; I just can't get over how amazing the engine's soundtrack is now. My only complaint is that two of the clamps they give you aren't big enough. Popping in this intake was easily a 30 minute project except I had to go to the store and buy bigger clamps. Even with that, I'm still giving 5 stars because of how amazing it sounds.

the unit fit great. one problem. three clamps were prefect size, two were not large enough. the one at throttle body and the one at maf.sensor. dad happened to the right ones in his junk draw.

I got this for my Infiniti G35x to try and help with gas mileage. Not only have i seen an immediate increase in MPG, I can feel the added horsepower(HP). My specific unit gave me 5.13HP increase, at the wheels!!(so it probably added about 15 engine HP). Only thing to be aware of is the sound it makes when you open the throttle up; it screams to a point that you know its there (thats a good thing if you are into performance for cars). In conclusion, i highly recommend this to anyone looking for a little added performance and a small, yet nice, increase in MPG.
