With only a little more than 2" of room under the hood, I didn't have a lot of options, but this worked great. I would have liked a better finish if I would show the car, but the hood only opens for maintenance so I can live with it.

I like the fit! It is perfect under the hood clearance now. The cleaner looks like welder was HIGH!The finish is nothing CLOSE the show finish claimed in the description! Its DULL I mean DULL!

I was looking for an air cleaner that would fit the tight clearance left after the previous owner swapped the stock TPI for a Carb setup that is pretty tall. None has worked so far but this, it's been difficult to shop around for air cleaners given the inconsistent info on the web and the very few reviews/poor descriptions of all products found on the market. If this situation sounds familiar to you, here you go: total plenum height appears to be just under 2" (excluding outputs, that stay on the side and use lower lateral space); has 2 outputs of 4" each and comes with removable black plastic plugs; appearance is raw but I like it, fits neat and clean and my hood closes w/o touching any parts of it. Can rotate it around and have output locations/hose routes re-angled as needed. I installed it w/ a 1/4" aluminum raiser w/O-ring gasket because 2 bolts on top of the carb prevented it from properly sit on the carb, still fits no issues. Currently working on the filters now, the 2 cones in the photo are there just to give more prospective to the photo, not driven like that as I am now awaiting for a 4" hose to try and bring one filter in the front to get cold air where the stock air cleaner was originally located. Tried with 1 cone on and other output closed and my 5.7 V8 small block seems to breath just fine, no changes noticed. Product is thin & light, but its structure feels sturdy. So far so good, will see how it plays out once the whole air intake system is finished but so far satisfied, I can close the hood and have clean air coming in. There are other versions w/other angles of outputs manufactured by the same company w/similar style, worth a try and price is reasonable.
