My 16yr old son wanted this for his truck and paid for it with his own money. I supervised him, but he was able to do most of the swap out from his stock intake (Dodge Dakota truck) to this one on his own following the included directions. The only issue we ran into was the length of wire for the air sensor was extremely tight to reach the new port on this K&N kit. We were able to secure it, but the wires are stretched pretty tight. Everything is working well so far and it's been several weeks since he installed it, and drives the vehicle daily.

Very happy with this kit. Haven't noticed a major power increase but I don't drive very aggressively to often. I have noticed that the truck doesn't seem to be working as hard anymore, it maintains speed with cruise control without having to rev up the engine. Makes for a much better highway drive through the hills. And it sounds awesome too, will be adding a new exhaust kit in the future, hope to see even more improvement.

what a difference it made, I put one on my V6 Dodge Dakota and it gave it the power of a V8 and improved my gas mileage by two to three miles per gallon and at $5.00 a gallon every little bit helps. I looked all over the internet for weeks and found the best price on Amazon.
