Noticed a big difference in power with the intake. would like it to be a little louder when vtec hits. It’s not as loud due to the plastic tube. None the less, the power is much better. It’s a good product. Wished it was cheaper. But couldn’t find any other companies making intakes with heat shield for the ridgeline.

I have 2006 honda ridgeline. Looking for more HP and I already installed one on my 2015 Ford mustangDirections suck. The filter is so tight next to headlights. The tube clips were to small. So u went to lowes and bought 3.5 diameter clips. So much easier. No directions on how and where to install tube bracket to vehicle. Called 800 number to figure it out.Performance...feel a little different. Not too much. Worth it? Time will tell.

Made my 08 ridgeline much more fun to drive and a little bit more efficient as well. Installation was pretty easy, although I had to find a new mounting bolt because the one I needed to reuse from the factory air box was cross threaded and I couldn't re use it. Also one of the the metal ring clamps were too small and I had to purchase another one, all in all took about 10 minutes and 5 extra bucks so not a big deal in my opinion. Once I got everything installed it runs very well, would put this brand on other vehicles in the future

But it's hard to tell. It is seriously louder. It gives the Ridgeline some needed auditory umph. NOTE: you hear it more on the driver's side and less outside or elsewhere. Did I notice a power boost? Maybe. But I was trying to notice. I think I'd need to do a pepsi challenge to be sure. Did it help mileage? Kinda not really. Yes, If I drive normal, I can stretch a gallon a little further. Not much. But the thing is now it's got balls and seems to sound like it's rocking when I accelerate hard. So have my driving habits changed as a result of this? Absolutely and I doubt that is helping my mileage. P.S. Installation was a bit tricky with getting the sensors aligned and plugged in. But once in it's pretty good. You can also remove the filter for cleaning without major disassembly.

I installed the kit on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline with basic hand tools. There is one screw on the OEM fliter box that is between the box and the driver fender. A long phillips screwdriver is required or remove the other screws first then the box can be leveraged forward a bit to get a normal phillips onto the last screw. Once removed, the new K & N Gen II was a simple install. No issues with the computer. Now the engine breathes. Throttle response is definitely improved and is noticeable even at low speeds. When you put your foot into it now, it litterally screams to life. Huge difference especially up in the torque band. I will check fuel mileage after a couple of tanks and write a second review.

Installed this on my ridgeline more than a year ago I think. Wasn't that hard, watched a youtube video and hit the garage. Sounds good and you can tell there's more throttle response. Guy at the quick lube place asked what I did to it and he's never had one that has the 'jump' like that. I haven't noticed a gas milage increase but I never payed attention to that anyway. I will be putting these on any other vehicles I will own in the future.
