2018 Corvette Z06 SCVery Surprised at the actual perfect fit, hassle free install. Took me about 2 hours to install only because I’m very thorough. Read the instructions and take your time. Looks awesome also. Would recommend to any C-7 owner. Hope this helps.

I had an issue with the initial install. After first reading the directions fully a couple of times and watching the AFE produced install video on YouTube I dove in. Everything went well until it came to screwing the light duty aluminum vent tube into the intake tube. Neither the printed directions nor video warns you not to try to bottom out the vent tube when screwing it in. It is not very strong and with a 13mm open-end wrench (as used in the video), it is easy to snap off. That is what I did.Important: The correct install will leave about 2mm from fully seating the aluminum vent tube. It is easy to snap off! Since the vent tube gets thread locker and since it snapped off flush with the intake tube, there was no removing it. At this point there was a choice of which customer service to try: the manufacturer, the seller, or Amazon.I figured AFE would be the place that could help the most. At first their tech service told me on the phone to use a "Speed Out" to remove the vent tube. That didn't work. It made things worse. The bottom line was I needed a new aluminum vent tube and intake tube. I tried emailing AFE with my problem. This time I got results. They sent me the two parts I needed. Thank you AFE!Likes: Seems to work well from seat-of-the-pants feel; Parts fit; Looks good; Customer service from the manufacturer was good (eventually).Dislikes: The install has you replace a small coolant line. This still doesn't fit perfectly with the hood vent seal. I've had to modify the hose length. It is tight. I'm sure they could have devised a more elegant solution.

Installation was simple and instructions were spot on. Fit and looks great, no codes have about 300 miles on the car with the new air intake. 2017 Z06/Z07 can feel the difference from 2k to 6k rpms mostly during a 2nd gear quick pull. Running the Michelin A+3 rain tread tires during daily driving, they hook up much better than the track tires when cold.

The fit & finish on this was great. I previously had the Halltech intake & the fitment on that was terrible.

The fitment was great but if you monitor the fuel trims you’ll notice there way off. Not recommended if you don’t want to tune your car and void the factory warranty.

No lean codes yet on 2017 Z06/Z07 after a couple hundred hard miles. I did go with the dry filter vs. the blue one as others have reported better results with this setup. The big thing for me though is that there are no lean codes being thrown (a potential problem some mentioned with 2017+ Z06s)
