Everything showed up but intake. I bought this specific brand because I thought they had a reputation of quality products. Hard to think quality when the main part is missing. It is a super expensive price to get let down like this. Expected more form K&N and very disappointed.

100% worth the time and money. Bolt on in less than an hour if you're taking your time. Engine sound is much better and it is of course faster with better throttle response. If you have a Chevy Cobalt or a Pontiac G5 with a 2.2L engine, I would recommend you put this on your car.

i've had this on my car (2007 chevy cobalt) since 2013, it is well worth the money. the first thing I noticed was the deeper sound during acceleration and better mpg (about 3-5mpg). the throttle response also is better. the only thing i've had to do is replace the little hose for crankcase vent, as the hose is not oil resistance and softened to the point it had a hole in it. $3 for a new hose from the auto parts store.side note the engine (chevy ecotac 2.2/2.4/2.0L) in these cars runs better without the plastic cover on it. Also about 10-15 deg F cooler

Just installed took me longer than expected to install but was worth it. Had to cut the tube that connect to engine because it was too long and had to adjust the whole system to fit properly in which took time. Anyways result was good and the throttle response is amazing. The sound of the engine roaring is so beautiful.

Shipped Quick, Clear instructions. Took me and my dad 45mins to Install. One of the hose clamps that you use to tighten around the pipe and rubber piece is a size too small. An Easy fix is to use one of the clamps from your stock intake that you just removed and problem solved.Pros-Looks sexyMakes a great noise past 2750-3000rpmSlight improvement in MPGFeels well-madeCons-The filter is exposed so more cleaning (i guess?)

Huge difference in power and response. The sound is also admirable and was very easy to install. the clamps are a bit to small so you're better off buying your own, but if you're moderately strong you can force it on like i did.

This short ram air filer is amazing. Installation is fairly simple and straight forward. If you need help, K&N has an install video on their website, and YouTube. After the install, the first thing you'll notice is the sound. It'll put a smile on your face. It will make your car a bit louder, and a whole heck of a lot deeper, yet again, watch the video, and they will compare the before and after sound. Then there's the performance. I will say you loose a small amount of low end torque, but you'll gain a bit of high end, which is what matters. It's enough of a change that you can feel it. All in all, if you are looking to make your 2.2L Ecotec sound a lot better, and want to squeeze a little more oomph from your car, I would definitely purchase this.

Highly Recommend! I am 28 and I Do IT work and don't know much about cars. Unlike alot of guys, my dad passed away before i was a teen so I never learned much about maintenance on your vehicle (ofcourse, we did have google/you tube). I say that to say, even I installed this with no problems in my 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LS (2-dr) w/133,000 miles. Perfect fit and the power is amazing! You will notice the power get stronger and stronger the more you drive it after installation until it reaches its peak (takes about 2-4 weeks but the power increase is permanent ofcourse while its in there). I have a friend that installed one in his Trailblazer and he said the exact same thing. Now my car is faster, but super LOUD!!! Like LOUD LOUD! In between 2-4 gears around 2200rpm's, this thing roars at other cars. And when its not roaring, it sounds like your car is growling. Heads definitely turn and I know they are surprised when they see it was a cobalt making all that noise. The installation was simple. I watched the youtube video 3x until I had it down, put the part together first before heading to the car. Took about 35 mins to install, 10-15 mins to put it together. All i needed was a pair of scissors since the rubber tube was kinda long. Wish I could upload a picture, but I do not see any links for images. Worth every penny! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You CAN install this by yourself, its cake.

I got this for my 09 cobalt with the 2.2L engine and so far so good. I have noticed a nice lower tone at high rpms and much faster throttle response. Vary good quality parts and the install was pretty strait forward. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think it is way over priced. I would consider a price tag of around $80 to be a fair price. Amazon is probably the cheapest you will find it, and i even got mine used, (Even though I was not able to tell what was used about it) but I still think K&N has to high of a price tag on these things. All that said I still think it is a great product and would recommend it to a friend (if they could get it at a lower price).

This intake is a Short Ram with a decent heat shield. Although not technically a Cold Air Intake, I would consider this the best Short Ram available for our car (cobalt/G5 2.2L).DOWNSIDES: Little bit low-end torque loss, Heat shield still leaves a few gaps for possible heat-soak...I will agree that the install didn't take to long, but it was a pain to align it all up properly. I actually was getting nervous during install, as I felt that it wasn't going to fit well at all. In the end, it all came together beautifully, and solid. Also, the clamp for the silicone elbow that attaches to intake tube is too small. Don't waste time messin' with it, use the one on stock air-box.AWESOME: Makes engine look sweet, high-quality materials/no cheap hardware, All connections fit perfectly for a professionally finished look, Throttle/gear response vastly improved while cruising...Oh, and it sounds ridiculous. It actually suprised me when I first took off with it. I have stock exhaust, and it's still unmistakably noticeable that something has been done to the car.
