The kit is pretty easy and straightforward. I had what seem like a lot of tubing left over.Take your time cutting the tubing. I tried to cut all at once from one side, would have been better to cut half and flip over to cut the other half.

I bought this item to fabricate a cold air intake for my "LS1" swap into a '81 Corvette. Once I finished I came to the conclusion it would have been cheaper to make it out of some 4" diesel exhaust piping, silicone couplers, hump hose connector and clamps from the local speed shop.To anyone doing a "LS1" swap on a C3 Corvette save your money. There was a lot of left over tubing. The air filter was to big to fit in the engine compartment. I wound up buying a smaller SPECTRE brand air filter. I had to buy Mass Air Flow sensor adaptors to fit the MAF into this 4" kit. The straight rubber coupler was missing. The original picture of this kit showed a straight rubber coupler along with the reducer and hump hose connector. The seller said it was Amazons fault for the wrong picture. He said he would get me one. Well it's been quite awhile and I don't think I'm ever going to see it.
