VKR's endoscope is an industrial borescope that can be directly connected to a mobile phone with a high-definition camera.
This snake camera is equipped with an HD camera with a 7.9mm diameter of LED auxiliary lighting. The camera adopts a high-sensitivity chip, which can be used normally even in a dark working environment.
- 1. The endoscope can adjust the brightness. Please read the instructions carefully before using it.
- 2. Please keep the endoscope in a dry and clean environment to avoid direct sunlight or moisture that may cause blurring of the lens or damage to its life.
- 3. Please trust the application to obtain camera permissions. The endoscope relies on the mobile phone camera to display images and will not collect or disclose user privacy.
- 4. When using the endoscope, please control the focal length of the object to be observed to adjust the clarity (the image will become blurred if the distance to the object is too close)
- 5. Do not wipe the lens with a wet cloth. It is recommended to use a cotton swab or lens paper to wipe the lens
- 6. Please pay attention to whether the endoscope is compatible with the mobile phone system when purchasing

Q：APP does not display pictures
A：Check whether the camera light is on, if it is off, or if the interface is not in good contact, please re-plug it.
Q：The product drawing is stuck
A：When the product is stuck, please keep the mobile phone's battery above 20%.
Q：Imaging picture is not clear
A：The best imaging focal length of the product is: 2cm-10cm, please calibrate the distance from the object you are looking at, or clean the front of the camera with a clean alcohol cloth.
Q：The camera is hot
A：It is usual for the camera to heat up, especially when the LED light of the camera is on at its highest brightness, but it does not affect normal use or service life.

This is a high-quality product that provides good image quality for the value. The use is pretty straightforward after you download the necessary app and the camera comes on a cable with semi stiffness when unwound. This makes it easy to maneuver through long areas as you’re trying to figure out what’s going on and things like dryer vents or sinks. It also comes with nice attachments like a right angle mirror for the camera.

This fiber optic "endoscope" camera is fairly simple. It plugs into your smartphone on one end, and the other end has a lens with a light. (The brightness of the light is adjustable via a physical wheel switch about 6 inches from where it plugs into your phone.) It comes with a USB-C connector, but they also provide a Lightning adapter, in case you want to use it with older Apple devices.This can only work in conjunction with a smartphone (or a tablet, I suppose). It requires use of an app called "USeePlus," which can be downloaded from the Google Play store (Android version) or from the Apple App store (iOS version). I have only tried the Android version.I should note that I already had another, similar app installed on my phone, from a previous endoscope I had. That app is called "OTG View2" and I was curious to see if this endoscope would work with that app. No, it doesn't. I don't know enough about the endoscope market to know whether this endoscope SHOULD work with that app, or any other app designed for OTG cameras. I'm also not sure if this incompatibility is the fault of the OTG app developer or this new (Vision Kraken) endoscope -- or both. I suppose it's not a huge deal that you have to use a different app for each endoscope, since fairly few people are going to have multiple endoscopes. Although if you use an endoscope for business, and need to have a backup, and they're not both from the same brand, this could be an issue for you.The USeePlus app installed without issue. It demands media access to your phone, since it needs to store still images or videos you capture. (That's assuming you want to save images. You can also just look at them in real-time.) It also claims it needs location access, but I don't see the legitimacy of that, especially since you're connecting the endoscope physically, not via Bluetooth or some other wireless connection method. Frankly, I don't love giving yet another app (and app company) access to my location, especially a company I don't know!Potential privacy issues aside, the app and endoscope DO work. There's even a setting in the app to switch between a 1X, 1.5X, and 2X image, although I'm pretty sure that's just a digital zoom, not a "real" (optical) zoom.Note that they warn you that this is intended for "industrial" uses only, and should NOT be used for any sort of medical purpose.If you're looking for an endoscope, such as to look at wires behind walls, or even for plumbing purposes (it's IP-67 water resistant), this item seems to do the trick! Image quality is decent. Having just gotten it, and only having used it a few times, I can't yet comment on durability or life-span.

This endoscope works really good, The image quality is clear and can be zoom in, the light and camera produces good image even in the darkest corners. The flexible cable makes it easy to navigate tight spaces, and the bright LED lights illuminate everything perfectly. This tool has saved me countless hours of frustration and guesswork.also comes with some accesories like a magnet and a hook to retrieve lost parts, Highly recommended, especially at this price!

I really like the simplicity of this device. The app is easy to download and set up. Once the app was downloaded, I plugged in the device and it immdiately worked. The cable has some rigidity to it so it can be guided relatively well into a tight space. The camera tip does has pretty good lighting....but there have been times that I wished I had more. Also, the camera head does heat up a bit and I decided to shut if off a few times rather than risking damage. Overall though, this is simple, easy to set up and operate and is rather effective if for those who may need this type of camera.

I bought this because I needed to check a blocked pipe at work. I didn't expect much for $30, but I was shocked by how easy it was to use, the quality of the camera and the pictures I was able to take with it. The amount I saved in labor far out weighed the cost of the camera. I have recommended to my division manager that we buy several for our crews to use.
