Camera works well, great picture. Only downside is that it doesn’t connect to an iPhone or iPad

While this Bore Scope works well with an Android phone, Amazon should have an option to offer a 45 " flexible Bore Scope to purchase to work with i- phones .

A bit more expensive than I would have liked but after using it and seeing how much I have been missing in either cleaning a bore or checking before a I purchase realized the overall cost is pretty cheap per rifle. The image is crisp and clear, the resolution is good enough I can make out fine machining marks and/or metal displacement from the button rifler. I really, really wish I had one of these when I had an expensive fight with a very costly custom barrel manufacturer. 40 years after the fight, which began in 1983, and I lost, I recently examined those 2 barrels with this borescope and the cutting is horrendous. I have no idea what went wrong with their fish hook cutter or procedures but barrels that should have produced sub MOA yet never were better than 5 MOA are truly junk when viewed with this. I would say the barrels needed to be lapped and that step was forgotten or ignored as the cause. Anyhow, I contacted the manufacturer, the same guy all these years later and so far the company have ignored my polite emails requesting support. I will come back and name them if my next email is ignored. If you are having any issues with a firearm check your bore with a scope. You might be astounded what you see!

Unbelievable. Very easy to use and I can't believe that low price!Just got it and immediately started to use it connected by USB C to my Google Pixel 9Pro XL. No issues.I looked down the barrels of some of my .22 caliber PCP airguns. Thankfully, all very clean. If you have a PCP airgun, this is a must-have at an unbelievable price.

I own a Hawkeye Gradient Lense Borescope. I must admit it is not as good as the price might suggest. Also, I have been wanting to see the scope results on a screen (eyes are getting older). I took a chance on this Teslong borescope simply because I figured if it doesn't work out I can send it back or if it is just good enough, I will have the ability to see the results in larger scale without breaking my bank. Let me say the clarity and visibility are excellent, and the soft wire vise the rigid makes life just a bit easier. I am able to screenshot photos of rifle/pistol bores for customers and show them on my 27" MAC. So, this item gets 2 thumbs up. Great product at a very good price.

I was really pleasantly surprised. I had used other bore scopes before but I always had to borrow them the few times I wanted to take a look at the bore. Not that I'm obsessed with looking at the bores on my rifles but rather that an occasional inspection can be a good thing to confirm barrel condition for frequent use AR platform rifles even though its likely not needed unless you suspect a problem but the technology is there so why not use it occasionally. For years I told myself I would get my own bore scope, so finally got around to buying my own.Value: Its a great value. Reasonably priced, good quality and workmanship.Use: Works as advertised and expected.Packaging and Contents: Suitable for the components, and the zippered case is nice. It did not come with a lens cleaning cloth for some reason. Basically just about everything 'optic' in the gun world comes with a lens cleaning cloth so I was a little surprised it didn't come with one, but no problem as I have a bunch of them collected over the years from firearms optics, cameras, phones, eye glasses, sun glasses, trips to the local gun store where they just give them away in a big bucket on the end of a counter, etc... so there is always one around I can use. For firearms, those little lens cleaning cloths supplied with optics tend to get soiled a little over time so I keep some fresh ones around. The manual is straight forward, instructions easy to understand, but other than the particulars about the app for Android devices and use on Windows computers the thing is pretty much self explanatory but take a look at the manual anyway.Set up and use: Basically, its a 'plug-n-play' kind of thing but if using on an Android device you need to get the app (see the manual). Initially I could not use it on my personal Android phone because its got an Otter case on it and that case has some plastic that encloses the port where the bore scope will plug into and the connector supplied with the bore scope is about 1/16 of an inch too wide to allow the connector to plug into the phone with that Otter case plastic in place and I did not want to remove the case. But I did try it with another Android phone without a case and it worked perfectly with the required app (outlined in the manual). I also tried it on a Windows 10 and Windows 11 computer, these have a built in 'camera' app and it worked perfectly with that and there is no separate app needed.Operation: Simple and straight forward. Its a bare bones basic bore scope, but its image quality surprised me some. Image is clear and sharp, and as shown in the videos with this item page on Amazon - which is about the same with other brand quality bore scopes. It had been a while since I last looked at my barrels insides like this, I was surprised at how effective my cleaning was since I last looked and only saw a few fibers left behind by cleaning patches. Barrels are in good shape.Advice: There is a little removable black cover for the camera. I recommend you hang on to this and put it back on when you are done using the bore scope to protect the camera. The cover also fits over the mirror attachments so you can leave one attached and slide the cover over that and its long enough so it will cover the mirror and the camera lens. The flexible camera cable is kind of springy and tends to want to 'un-coil' when you try to coil it back up to put it in the case, one of the twist ties with the USB cable can be used to secure it so it doesn't uncoil.

I think the quality and its clarity is superb , light years better than the cheap borescopes selling on Ebay . anyway i will let the photo show its clarity > the bore of a 147 year old Danish Remington rolling block.

For the cost, this is great borescope. What you read in the other positive reviews is accurate. I'll add a few things:- You have to adjust the mirror position to get a good focus. There IS a lock ring already on the end of the scope, but because everything is machined so well, you might not see it... but it is there.- Works great on a Mac, no software required. You can use PhotoBooth; Quicktime is better, because it gives you the full image. PhotoBooth crops it a bit, although it's still perfectly usable.- The USB plug has a flip-up adapter with built-in micro-USB (Android, etc). For newer Macs, they include a USB-C adapter. No need to buy any adapters!- The flexible cable had good rigidity. It lays almost straight when you take it out of the box.- If you have a longer barrel, just go in from the muzzle, and then from the breech. It's flexible enough to insert into the breech end of a bolt action, or Garand, etc. without any problems.- Works great for other stuff besides guns - for example the other day I used it to inspect some SMDs on a circuit board. And....- WORKS GREAT FOR SPLINTERS! I taped the end of the scope to my table, put my finger in front of it, and was able to remove a tiny but annoying splinter. It was like a high-tech operating room. Here are my 'gripes' but they are minor.- There is a brightness adjustment, but the camera auto-adjusts to the brightness. So really it doesn't seem to make a difference. Would be nice if there was a setting not to auto-adjust, so that you could really make things brighter, or dimmer.- The light creates a hot spot on shiny surfaces, like a well polished bore. You can't see the middle of the image, it's all white. But of course you can see around it, and rotate and move things, so you get used to it. Would be nice if the light source was more diffuse, if possible.- The camera body and mirror are stainless steel, but have sharp edges. Now this point could be argued, but sharp metal in a precision rifle bore generally does not leave a good feeling.- The USB cable is only about a foot longer than the scope body, so you have to position your device (computer, etc) carefully when using this on a rifle or other long bore.- When using on a small bore like a .22, you have to move the mirror farther away from the camera. This gives a significantly reduced field of view - you can actually see around the mirror. It's still functional enough to use, but it makes it a bit more difficult to see things.Despite all the 'gripes' I still think this is totally worth it. It is 100% functional and I can adjust to the shortcomings for the price.
