This was easy to ut together myself at 75 yrs old....just needed son to help me stand upright. I can store books, sketchbooks, storage containers with prep art for my new stories, plue filing on bottom for my developing stories.

There are some things you buy, put in situ and are so bedazzled you never think again about the cost or time involved. You’re in love with it so much. This IS NOT that piece! I will never forget the cost or the wretched HOURS to construct. The directions are grossly lacking any true purpose, the materials are flimsy and the finished product disappoints.Dealing with the company for a problem with the drawer mechanism has yielded no response and I have gone on to a different solution.I won’t purchase from this company again, I don’t and won’t recommend this product to anyone.

I needed a filing cabinet for my office and I liked that this one came with glass cabinets for extra storage for books and things. It’s pretty sturdy (not sure why people mentioned it wasn’t) and I did not attach it to the wall but if I had young children, I might. I found it pretty easy to put together by myself. I did have to stabilize the doors with a small paper wedge to screw in the hinges, so I would recommend two people for that part. Overall for the price, I definitely would recommend it. (Side note - I did check and count all parts before I started because some mentioned missing parts and I have experienced that before with other items so I learned my lesson on doing the work before checking! There were no missing parts with this item).

Looks great in my office. Good quality for furniture that you assemble yourself. Looks great and holds all the miscellaneous stuff that you don't always need lying out. Recommend

I've been looking for something like this for a long time because I'm sick of pet fur getting all over my books.The item was well packaged and secure, all parts were present and the instructions were so easy to follow.I'm a 32yo (F) and put it together by myself in about three hours.

Purchased 2 black cabinets for my office, selecting these because they are modern and attractive. For some reason I thought they would be lighter, but they are every bit 110lbs. I experienced a bit of a strain lifting the first one out of the car and onto my flatbed dolly but that resolved with some ibuprofen. (I’m a lady nearly 50.) It took me 20-30 minutes more that the instructions indicated to assemble with my drill. (More than 3 hours each.) I’ve previously assembled 26 other furniture items and typically in less time than the instructions indicate. Directions were largely correct except in dissembling the drawer slide - it was a grammatical error than slowed me down and forced me to google a video for help. In a perfect world you’d have a 2nd person when attaching the doors. I don’t love the 1/8” gap between the doors but maybe that’s just being picky about an inexpensive product. Overall this is a sturdy item, however the bottom of the drawer gives a little if you lay files in the drawer instead of hanging them as intended. The black cabinet really shows fingerprints. I considered purchasing a third cabinet but decided against it because of the time required for assembly.

Once put together its sturdy. Was easy enough to put together but while assembling a few of the board pieces broke off where the nail was supposed to go with nothing done wrong on my part. So I had to get wood glue to fix it. I had contacted the seller and it took almost 3 days to get back to me. At that point the wood glue set and i had already given up on it. The outer appearance was not affected by the screw parts breaking off. Other than that it is currently holding 40 plus 2 pound snow globes. it shakes sometimes when cats jump up on it but it does its job well. Definitely should have the wood better for that price though.
