The drawer was fairly simple to put together. The "wood" look is really nice and the black accents match perfectly. It holds quite a bit. I would definitely recommend this item.

I wished I had done this after I bought it but I put it together after the return window closed so writing a review in hopes it can help others. The issue is this: When you pull out the drawers, even without anything in them, the drawers tip and the metal rails they attach to on the cabinet deform and sag. I have mitigated the top draw by cutting and adding a piece of wood below the slide but the bottom drawer does the same thing. Its a nice looking file cabinet that essentially I can't use. Very disappointing.

This is a great looking file cabinet with average to below average ease of assembly. The main snag is assembling the drawers. The rails pulled off one side upon first use, the tiny beads fell out of the glide rails and it completely came apart. It is very difficult to level the drawers so they glide in & out aligned with the space. I have not been able to get either drawer straight nor to close all the way. I have asked the seller to replace the cabinet, but so far they will only send replacement parts. Buyer caution, this is a third party vendor, you have to go through them for assistance, not Amazon. There is a language barrier, but I am hoping they will replace the entire cabinet or refund the purchase. TBD.

The instructions are a little hard to understand. No words just pictures. But I'm a female and managed just fine. Love the modern look and it's real sturdy.

It looks great but the draw mechanism isn’t the best. It comes off the track often and was a pain to put together. All in all though it is worth the money you pay for.
