The Fesbos cabinet is sturdy and functional, with smooth-sliding drawers and a great safety feature that prevents more than one drawer from opening at the same time, which helps avoid tipping due to weight. It offers plenty of storage space and fits nicely in my home office.However, the delivery experience was disappointing. The delivery person practically threw the package onto the sidewalk, and one of the pieces arrived slightly dented, making assembly more difficult. The assembly process itself was a bit awkward, as some parts required getting inside the cabinet to tighten screws. The instructions weren’t very clear, but with a few extra minutes of focus, they were manageable to understand.The last drawer doesn’t close completely, likely due to the damage during transit, but it doesn’t significantly affect its usability. Despite these issues, it’s a sturdy and practical cabinet for organization. I hope future buyers experience a more careful delivery process.

It amazes me the things that China can accomplish as far as merchandising. This cabinet is designed to be shipped in a compact box and assembled by the buyer. The packaging is excellent; no damage and easy to unpack. The assembly may be challenging for some, but I did not have a problem. The drawers took some "persuasion" to fully seat and slide into the cabinet. Other than that, this was an easy assembly and a fine cabinet for $169 (purchased Sept 2024) - it seems just fine. As expected with Chinese-made self-assembly products, the assembly hardware (screws, nuts, and bolts) are not the best quality, but I did not have any issues. The screwdriver that was sent with the product is junk, so don't even try to use it. Buy something like the Vessel 220P2150 ball grip #2 Philips screwdriver to make the job easier with much less chance of damaging the cheap-ish assembly hardware. Take this for what it is worth. It is not the same quality as an $800 HON cabinet, but it is good quality. I expect years of trouble-free use from this cabinet.

This file cabinet is great. It holds so much. I got the 4-drawer white and gray, and it is beautiful. You have to follow the directions exact. I am not mechanically inclined, but my husband is. It is pretty detailed on the instructions and not so easy to follow.If you get it put together and start putting the drawers in and all the drawers fit fine, but the top, READ THE TROUBLESHOOTING page. Ours did not close so we thought that they had drilled the holes wrong. APPARANTLY, they have had complainants about the top drawer not closing like ours, because it was the first thing listed. If you read the troubleshooting page, it will tell you how to fix it. YOU HAVE NOT GOT THE DRAWERS LOCKED IN CORRECTLY. My husband thought they were locked, but after reading that page, he took the drawers out and shoved them in again. HE HAD TO SHOVE THEM IN SO HARD, he thought he was going to BEND THE DRAWERS, but they locked down and when putting the drawers in again, they fit perfectly.

the only good thing about it is the packaging. Assembly is tedious with the provided instructions, but it is manageable. Screwing, especially near the edges will require a lot of effort and strength. The cabinet looks sturdy considering it's heavy, but the structure will be wobbly no matter how tight you screw all the places. The drawers don't close fully, seems like a manufacturing/design defect. One of the drawers came with a big scratch. Leaves fingerprints easily. One of my worst purchases on Amazon.

For the price, it's acceptable for home use. The basic installation instructions are okay but there's a couple of areas that are lacking. Here's what I had to do to get the lock working and the drawers in the right position.1. Removing the packing insulation around the locking bar was difficult. Removed a springed clip on both sides of the locking bar to remove the insulation.2. I inserted the key and rotated it before the instruction step, then couldn't raise the side locking levers as shown in the instructions. Had to move one of the locking bar springs to get the side bar up and the levers in the right position.3. Drawers would not initially close, getting caught up on each other or the cabinet. This was because the drawer wouldn't seat well on the drawer slides. Fixed this by opening up the drawer slide clips using a flat head screwdriver. (Insert a flat head screwdriver in the clip and twist to open the clip.) Still needed to use a rubber mallet to drive the drawer into the clip. Make sure to support the drawer slide with one hand while banging on the top of the side of the drawer over the clip.

Product is amazing. Took a lot of hand muscles to put together tho. The screws were a bit tough to get through in the lid. Upon initial inspection I noticed Minor scratches on one drawer a small deeper one side panel but over all you can’t notice them once it’s all together and the one side panel is against the wall. The product is well built and sturdy. I like that the cabinet locks and that it makes you close one drawer before you can open another to prevent tipping. Definitely holds a ton of files with a lot of weight. If you cannot close your drawers all the way it’s because you need to press the drawer down in the slides more. I like that the instructions gave you a trouble shoot section. It helped me to determine that. Beware to note how the lid comes. I got ahead of myself and took the lock portion off and took a while to figure out how to put back together. I would definitely purchase again. I didn’t address the scratches with the seller because I took longer than a month to put together so outside return window. But I’m still very happy.
