The Victor PestChaser Rodent Repellent might be small, but it is mighty in its capabilities. Each plug-in repellent provides coverage to medium-sized rooms such as kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and more. The PestChaser is so effective due to the high-frequency sound it emits. While the noise sounds like a jackhammer to rodents and encourages them to leave the area, humans and most pets are incapable of hearing it at all!
The easy-to-use design makes this the ideal method for anyone regardless of previous experience repelling rats and mice. Simply plug the PestChaser into a 110V wall outlet, and let the repellent do the work for you! But if you can’t hear it, how will you know it’s working? The PestChaser comes equipped with a nightlight that glows softly to provide illumination, but also lets you know it’s working. The PestChaser is a long-lasting repellent that can keep your home infestation free for up to 3-5 years.
While there is no risk of poisoning with this repellent, pet rodents and rabbits will not appreciate this device being placed in rooms where they live as they are sensitive to the sound. Utilize these repellents in areas where your rodent and rabbit pets are not allowed to roam.
Rodents that are hungry or tempted by easily accessible food may find another route around your protected area, so it is best to remove all likely food sources prior to use. PestChaser works best to repel rodent populations when used with other rodent control methods as part of an integrated approach to trap, repel, and monitor infestations.

I was skeptical of these but thought I'd try them out. I installed them and then only had two more caught in the traps. After that no more mice! Follow the instructions on locating them. I am going to buy another set for a different location.

One of the plugs was inoperable. I contacted the manufacturer. They were very gracious and willing to replace the item. The product is great and the company stands behind it.There is no noise and the night light casts a very nice light. It helps keep the mice at bay.

I was leary about buying these repellents based on the reviews I had seen online, but after having a mouse blatantly walk over my bare foot, I became desperate. So far, so good. I have one in each room of my house and have not seen a mouse in months. Just in case you are worried about your pup, I have a small dog, and the ultrasonic noise does not seem to bother him. My only complaint is the blue nightlight; I wish there was a way to turn it off. There may be an option to buy these without that feature, but I did not realize that I could not turn it off before purchasing.

I have used these for many years. They do not get the mice out of your house. You need to use mouse traps for that. Once you get them out, they are very helpful in keeping them out. You have to be sure to seal any entry points where the mice get in. They are not 100% effective, but they are worth buying because they do help. You just have to have realistic expectations.

These are marketed as being silent to humans and animals. My wife and I can both hear buzzing from all 3 units when they are plugged in.The night light function works; but, they are pretty bright if you are light sensitive while sleeping. They work fine in hallways to not ruin your vision and provide light; but, they are intended more for rooms than hallways. Now to performance. I put one in my garage. As a side note the product description says they are for small/normal size rooms. My garage certainly isn’t that. However. I put one out anyway as that is the intrusion point to my home for the mice; and because I could hear them buzzing inside I decided to try the one we removed from our bedroom.Fast forward to the next day I had an old Tom and Jerry style snap trap still out that was within 3 feet of the unit. My wife said she heard a snap and sure enough there was a fresh mouse in the trap right under the plugged in unit.I really wanted these to work, but, I think I learned the hard way that they’re gimmicky and not really functional for me.I don’t have the pack again; shame on me, so I can’t even return them to get my money back.Hope this helps someone avoid wasting their money.

To start, 5 out 6 came working. This seems to be a common issue from other reviews. I had plugged them in when I got them and stepped out of the house. When I came back home, after 10 mins of being in the house I got a really bad headache. I thought I was getting sick. I know they emit a high frequency noise and wondered if that was the cause. After I unplugged them my headache went away. I came on here to read the reviews to see if anyone experienced the same thing and I found that I wasn’t the only one. I’m not sure if they work or not, they’ve only been plugged in for less then 24 hrs. but, my toddler also has sensitive ears and I’m worried they might experience these headaches too.. not sure if I will keep them in.
