What is a VFD
The function of frequency converter is to change the frequency and amplitude of motor drive current to achieve smooth control of motor speed. The emergence of frequency converters simplifies complex speed control, reduces the chance of motor failure and is more energy efficient.
Built-in cooling fan
The VFD will generate heat during operation, and the VFD is equipped with a cooling fan inside to force air cooling. To ensure good ventilation and heat dissipation, the VFD (wall-mounted) should be installed in vertical direction.
Double screen display
Unique dual screen design: The upper screen displays preset values and the lower screen displays the current operating parameters, which can display a wide range of operating parameters. It is more convenient and easy to work on.

For the price, this is amazing. I initially had it set up with the included remote panel, but now have a variable resistor for speed and push buttons for forward and reverse. Running a 2hp lathe. Great fine control once I got the settings dialed in.

This worked great to allow my 3 phase compressor motor to use 1 phase power. It also helps limit the current inrush, and start and stop rates. Very cool product.

This drive has been running my bench top mill for almost one year. More than half the time after pushing the stop button the motor does not stop. It will slow down and ramp up on its own, but won’t stop. When it does this the only way to make it stop is to turn off the breaker feeding the drive.Requested a replacement multiple times to no avail. The experience with customer service was akin to running in circles.Not impressed.

I am making a 72 inch belt sander with a 3phase 230v motor. I purchased this VFD because we do not have 3 phase at home. I did some serching around and did not find anny pertinent information on how to configure it. I got intouch with the vendor via Amazon sent a photo of the plate on my motor and the next day I recieved a notification with instructions on how to configure it.Worked perfectly.

On my 70 year old 1 HP Queen City pedestal grinder that needed three phase power. Had a small issue with the setup but contacted customer support and they walked me through getting it corrected. For the money and the service provided can’t beat it!

I own three of these VFDs, and they have had 0 issues. The manual isn't bad at all, either. I was able to program this and understand the advanced settings very easily. Look, I'm not even running any circuit protection yet, and they work Flawlessly. I couldn't recommend the Mollom VFDs enough. Their price point and quality are spot on. I am not doing production work, I have a hobby shop with larger equipment.!

Swapped out the 1.5 HP 1 phase motor with a 2hp, 3-phase motor on my knee mill. The manual was well written, making it esy to set it up. I added a remote RUN switch and remote speed control. I was alble to tune the VFD to reduce the hum. The VFD works great. I like the dual diaplay, showing both frequency and motor amps,

Installation information is included in the manual. You must program the unit for your specific motor then program your other parameters as desired. This unit has a lot of programming options for any use.
