- RioRand DC Motor Speed Regulator controls the speed of a DC motor by adjusting Pulse-Width-Modulated (PWM).
- Control the forward or reverse direction and the stop of DC motor by switch.
Operating instruction: Before you're attempting to wire the controller, make sure that power is off.
- Connect wires refer to the “wiring diagram” .
- Turn on the power, and adjust the potentiometer.
- The LED indicates the power up and the speed of motor.
- Warning: Do not reverse positive and negative power loads. This will damage the controller!

Controller works fine. But is there a way to increase the range of the potentiometer? To go from motor full speed to motor stop, the potentiometer turns only 10 degrees or so. Difficult to adjust speed. Please, help

use this on devises I built for fishing rod building runs a motor for thread wrapping 12v, motor for finish drying at 12v and 24v depending on rpm's needed, 24v for cork sanding jig. All applications are nice with the variable speed and direction control.

RV roof fans are generally poor quality and the controllers fail. This is a good inexpensive way to repair them. Easy install. Works with any low voltage fan or even lighting.

I used this to control a motor mod for a filament winder. It was easy to hook up. everything was clearly labeled. once connected, it worked well, allowing me to control the speed of the motor.

I received this PWM controller with a reverse switch - and installed it on the bath fan in my RV, to replace the defective switch and motor controller that used 10W resisters to control motor speed. The PWM controller, unlike the resistors, does not waste power by simply using resistance (which bleeds off power as heat), but rather uses pulsed current to control the DC motor. It did take a bit of finesse to cut out the rectangular hole for the forward/off/reverse switch, but once done, the switch snapped into position perfectly. The variable speed control also has an off position so you can simply rotate the switch to off if you prefer. Motor speed is smoothly controlled, allowing me to turn down the fan a bit to reduce noise and conserve energy. I will likely purchase another one to control the speed of the range hood fan.Great product, and it saved me a ton of money vs. replacing the entire fan unit or the original (resister) speed control (which is currently unavailable). Well built, good solder joints on the circuit board, seems sturdy, easy connections.
