I purchased Varathane Triple Thick Polyurethane as part of my bloom recipe for acrylic paint pouring, and it has worked exceptionally well! If you’re into fluid art and Dutch pours, this is an excellent choice for cell creation, smooth flow, and a durable finish.✅ Pros for Paint Pouring:✔ Perfect Bloom Recipe Additive – Helps create lacing and cells when mixed properly.✔ Smooth, Glossy Finish – Enhances the vibrancy of colors and adds a professional shine.✔ Consistent Flow & Leveling – Allows paint to move effortlessly without breaking.✔ Non-Yellowing – Keeps whites and lighter colors true over time.⚠️ Things to Consider:⚠ Mixing Ratios Matter – Be precise when adding this to your pouring medium for optimal results.⚠ Drying Time – May require extended drying/curing time, depending on humidity and layer thickness.⚠ Ventilation Needed – Has a noticeable odor when wet, so proper airflow is recommended.💡 Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a polyurethane that works well in bloom recipes, this is an excellent choice! It helps create stunning lacing, cells, and smooth finishes in acrylic pouring projects. Highly recommended for fluid artists who want professional-quality results.🔹 Would I Use It Again? Absolutely! This is now a staple in my paint pouring supplies

Originally had bought the regular version and painted multiple layers on a wood shelf I put together but it took forever and the coating was too thin and seemed to be more of a top layer fix rather than creating a gloss layer so I decided to buy this Triple Thick version. This worked into actually putting a noticeable smooth thick gloss surface onto the unfinished wood. Very satisfied with the triple thick gloss, skip the original unless you only want a thin thin coat.

After our house fire I hand stripped the floors, doors and baseboards. After staining I used this Polyurethane to seal the wood and add shine. Goes on well and dries quickly. I liked it so much I have been using it on furniture I have been refinishing. Great product!

First time trying water based polyurethane. I wasn't expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised. It's clear without the yellow tint of oil based, so if you're looking to retain the whitish look of some woods, this is a great product to try.

Either put on a thick coat or be prepared to put on several thin coats. Make your brush strokes the length of your.project or it will show where you stopped and started again. Took me several coats to get it right but finished project was worth it. Good luck.

I've purchased and used Varathane products a lot in the past. We tried the triple Thick Poly this time for transition strips in our new wood flooring. Worked like a charm, and flowed out to a nice finish!

It's a good product, thick and has a whitish consistency.Supposed to cover 3 times the amount with just 1 coat. I have just used it over the stone washed paint on a concrete staircase. It has hardened and looks like real stone. However regarding the durability I will post later.
