Was struggling to get good coverage with yellow paint (learned to use a pinkish primer! ) and this pleasantly surprised me. Included two different spray heads... nice touch for modelling.

This is my second canister of Vallejo's matte varnish. The first one (bought two years ago) was very matte. The newer canister (purchased in September 2024) is not matte. At best it is a stain finish.

Une 40aine de secondes par passe pour une porte.

Bought a can from my LGS two years ago and loved this product, worked every time, very consistent. I bought a can on amazon, was a different (updated?) designed label and I have never gotten the finish that I liked on a miniature, actually just gave up and repainted one of them. I would shake the can for over 5 minutes, heat it up in a warm water bath, shake it some more, and still got poor results. I can't imagine its a new formula so maybe just a defective can, either way I'd skip it!

I had to look for a new product because my last one of choice was getting expensive. This one has four times the amount my other spray varnish had for less than twice the price. Excellent!! I heard a lot about white powdery substance or spots in the spraying- I have yet to encounter that. I made sure to shake the Can for a solid minute though to be sure all the product was mixed and that has worked fine. Also! Be sure to not spray when the humidity is higher than 50 because I hear that causes problems for Matt varnishes.Sealed up my 10cm ooak perfectly!!!

Works great. Leaves a nice satin finish and protects the paint job. I use it before I apply AK Interactive washes. It allows me to remove the excess wash by rubbing with a cloth and not rubbing off the paint job underneath.
