Love Mohawk products. This is perfect for my application of wooden gear tubing against wooden gears. Makes it slide much easier with minimal resistance

Now my old drawers and cabinet run smooth. They used to get stock but this fixed the issue with all of them. A bit expensive for the amount you get but worth it.

I replaced the track on a drawer that was broken. I did not have product to apply right away to make the drawer slide smoothly. Eventually it started getting stuck. I bought this Mohawk Slideez and it work wonderfully as soon as I tried it. I applied it to both parts of the track. Very pleased with a smooth sliding drawer.

I was trying to make a long tambour door for a cabinet, which necessitated it going around two tight right-angled bends, but I couldn't persuade it to slide in the grooves I'd made. So I applied some of this, and hey, presto! wonderful smooth motion. Highly recommended.

We have wood on wood sliding draws at the edge of a finished space in an attic. The draws are subject to high temperatures as they are close to the roof line which has little insulation.....On the first set of draws, I used my index finger to apply the product on both the railing and the bottom slides of the draws about month ago. I noticed that a coat on the sides of the front cutout of the cabinet helped release closed draws... After a month of use and being subject to high temperatures, the draws still slide freely.I just did the other set of draws but did the slides only (not the bottom of the draws so I didn't have to empty them.)Be careful if using your finger to apply the coat as you may get splinters from sections of the draws / slides which are not always in contact.I will update this review at the end of the summer, but am quite happy now.....UPDATE 07/2024. Draws still slide well after one year. Great product!

The best application I've found is for wood drawers that slide on wood rails. Beyond that, anything wood that slides on wood. It worked well when assembling a rocking chair. The legs were an extremely tight fit into the rockers. I remembered that I had this product, used a little to lube the interior of the rocker's holes. It worked well. Also on a solid wood door that's exposed to a garage on one side, an area that is not climate controlled. The temp and humidity differential occasionally resulted in the door swelling a bit and becoming sticky. Using this product resulted in the door opening and closing much more smoothly.I've used this for approximately 45 wood drawers that slide on wood rails, 20 of which are small ~8 x10 drawers in a cabinet, the rest a mix of various sizes ranging up to a dresser with large and heavy drawers measuring about 3 feet wide, 2 long. Note that for large and heavy drawers, ptfe/teflon tape may be a better choice. Speculation..I use one of the smaller drawers frequently, probably 3-4 times per day. I was used to a certain amount of friction/resistance over a very long time so when I opened it for the first time after lubing it with this product, muscle memory resulted in nearly flinging the drawer across the room.Although I haven't tried, it's likely that this would be a great product for older houses that have wood framed windows that slide up and down in wood guide channels.I've used this for aluminum framed windows and aluminum guide channels. It worked equally as well as it did on wood. I'm not sure that this product is ideal for metal to metal applications but the manufacturer states that metals are one of the applications. Before doing this, it would be best to check with the manufacturer of the windows to find out what they recommend. I'll guess that most will not recommend a waxy product such as this but worth asking.I started using this in November of 2020. My experience is that it will remain effective for roughly 12-18 months a temp controlled household or apartment.A little goes a long way. The 4oz container I purchased in 2020 is slightly more than half full after the usage I mention above. Overusing this product may result in clumps and wasteful usage of the product. I use thick 9mil nitrile mechanics gloves to firmly apply along the contact area of the drawers. No need to apply to both contact surfaces. One has proven to be enough in my experience. As another reviewer pointed out, using gloves will help prevent splinters if the drawers are not finished along the contact areas.Great product, highly recommended, happy customer.

Well I don't know, I put this Mohawk Slideez on old-fashioned bare wood drawer glides. Admittedly the drawers have a lot of knives and forks and things in them so they're heavy, and the bare wood is not that smooth in the first place and who knows, maybe it even swells a bit with the moisture from the Slideez, but it kind of seems like the Slideez is sticky or something and doesn't really help the drawer to slide. At least that's my impression. I might look for some Teflon or high-density (UHMW) tape or something like that, and see if that works better.
