Yes, it's more expensive but the natural gloss model with the updated advanced preamp is much better than the older cheaper preamp colored versions electric guitar. Compare the pics of colored verses the natural gloss. This more expensive one definitely has lower action the fret ends are rounded, so no filing needed, and the higher quality build is shown. Honestly the older colored versions have a top side buzzing when playing at d-string around 3 or 4 fret and it's from the resonance from the 9v battery spring terminals, same problem with the thinner body Jameson's. Hope this helps you make your decision.

I was pleasantly surprised by this guitar. It did need some set-up ( lowering the string height and adjuting the neck rod to get it to play more easily. Once I did that I was happy with the playability and sound especially when electrified. With all of the included extras, strings, pickguard, strap, picks and tuner even though the guitar has a built in tuner, I was surprised there wasn't a nine volt battery in the mix. More important than an extra set of strings to test out the sound thru my amp. All of that said what I found most intriguing was the fact the spruce top is actually a great looking solid piece of wood; not laminated ! Slightly disappointed that the super shiney clear coat on the entire guitar as I suspect it probably effects the resonance of the spruce top...it's seems very thick to me but it's nicely done...smooth as glass. The amplified playing eliminates that deficit however as it sounds as good as my Master Bilt Epiphone guitar when plugged in. Suggestion: Ditch the tuner extra strings and strap and include a 9 volt and maybe a feedback inset for the sound hole. Bottom line; Buy it you'll like it!

I recently purchased the Vangoa electric/acoustic guitar, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. From the moment I picked it up, I was impressed by its superb construction. The body is crafted from high-quality tonewoods that not only look stunning but also produce a rich, resonant sound whether plugged in or played acoustically. The neck is incredibly smooth, making it easy to glide up and down the fretboard. The action is set perfectly, allowing for comfortable play without any buzzing or dead notes. Whether you’re strumming chords or picking intricate melodies, this guitar responds beautifully to every touch. One of the standout features is the built-in electronics, which faithfully capture the natural sound of the guitar when amplified. It’s perfect for live performances and recording sessions, giving you the best of both worlds with ease.Overall, the Vangoa combines excellent craftsmanship with playability, making it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced players. If you’re looking for a versatile, high-quality electric/acoustic guitar, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

I like this guitar. It plays well and sounds magnificent. But I bought it for the electric part. The plugin part is loose. Not tight like I expected or as the other 2 acoustic electric guitars I have. When plugged-in it buzzes and if you walk around the cable comes loose. Can’t play on stage like that. Very disappointed with such defect. Otherwise 5 stars.

Well packaged and fast shipping. Great guitar at an amazing price, plus a case and all the accessories. All I did was give it a quick tune and this thing was ready to play right out of the box. It sounds and looks great. I honestly can't find anything I don't like about this guitar. I plugged it into an Amp, and once you get the eq dialed in to a setting you like, it sounds great too. Yes, the guitar is made in China, but somebody at Vangoa is doing an outstanding job setting these guitars up. I like it so much, I will be ordering the Red guitar next.

This acoustic guitar was delivered in excellent condition. Once I made a slight adjustment to the trust rod and tuned it up the action and playability was fantastic. Factory strings are more than acceptable, beautiful matte black finish, and the sound that resonates from this guitar is way above par. The electronic components are excellent and they work perfect. Just can’t put it down, it’s such a gem to play and the bundle of extras you get with it are another plus. A recommended buy.

I was doubting and checking too many videos just to find it is just the best guitar you can get at this price point or even double the price point. The Allen key will have to be used to loosen up a little, but even without it it already is great, it comes already on low action which is amazing as there's no strain on having to push down more than needed as with other guitars. If this is your first guitar you're looking for, you found the best choice definitely. Jhonny Silverhand sends his regards

I'm a happy customer; just the look and feel of the Vangoa acoustic guitar is amazing, but it also sounds really good straight out of the box.I did my research on YouTube, so I already knew it was going to be a great option at this price range for a traveler guitar of good quality, but I certify that this IS the real deal.It comes with all the toys you'll need to perform, tuner, capo, picks, even a set of strings and a cloth to keep the beautiful black finishings neat.

Such a wicked deal for an electric acoustic, tuner strings strap etc for the price. The only issue I had was the fret dividers were extremely sharp on both ends of every fret, probably from the wood shrinking since it’s build, but running my hands done the neck twice and it cut my fingers!! I’ve heard of this happening to other reviews before on many other random guitars, but never experienced it myself. It was an easy remedy though, as I grabbed a precision file I had in my toolbox and took about 10 mins to just slowly file off those sharp ends of every fret, and it has been flawless ever since. Have been playing it regularly and it sounds and plays perfectly. All in all I am extremely happy with the finish, minus the filing job I had to perform on those frets. Flat black really looks attractive on this unit, I wasn’t sure about it until I saw it for real that it looks really nice. I’d buy from this brand again for sure.

It’s a beautiful guitar. The craftsmanship is unbelievable. It plays great music with or without the amp. Minor issues we noticed: sharp fret bars on the edge, included cable doesn’t stay plugged in, strings are not the best, quality wise. Overall this a bang for your buck.
