- When wiring, do not energized, strictly according to the wiring diagram.Sensor wiring: brown--Power+; blue--Power-; black--signal.
- Only metal objects can be detected, especially for iron metal can be better detected, but the choice of non-iron metal, the detection distance will be greatly reduced.

I had ordered another brand of this proximity switch which failed miserably. This one worked great.

this things barely works 1mm from surface with either 5v or 12v input.
