idk if this was my problem but the probing accuracy was super lowbed mesh was terriblewent back to bl touch and worked way better

Lies, all lies. Will not sense other materials. Only conductive. At 5v it will only detect conductive at 1mm or less and sends erratic signal.

These are actually decent sensors, they work well on 2 printers of mine for a cheap price BUT they make some very untrue claims like saying it will sense powder or water, NO it will not. It will sense pretty much any type of metal in SOLID form but outside of that it doesnt sense anything like they claim. As long as you are using a spring steel plate or something very thin(like 0.2 thin) on your metal bed your fine but if using ANYTHING ELSE it will not sense it. Works but negative 2 stars for false claims.

I bought this for my ender 3 that is running a mks tinybee board, works like it should. I feel it more accurate than the 3d touch probe that it replaced. It's faster probing as well as don't have to listen to the annoying clicking of the 3d tough anymore.Worked so well I added it to my Anycubic Chiron as well. Would recommend.

These work reliably as endstops. They are not recommended as Z probes though as you really need a point detector not a general closeness detector for accurate z probing.The only downside I see is that the detection range for aluminium is probably more like 2mm not 4mm, however if you can use steel to detect it is a good 4mm.I have 5 of these used as endstops on various CNC machines and they all work reliably.`

I print higher temp materials on moderately modified commercial printers in heated enclosures.I found the BLTouch and clones don't tolerate heat well, becoming a bit erratic after several excursions to 75c.Switching to this inductive probe means I have lost the ability to use a glass sheet, but the popular steel sheets with PEI coating work fantastic. I even found that the probe works through a thin sheet of garolite cemented to the steel side, so printing nylon is now much easier.I do wish the cable was about 30cm longer, so it could reach all the way to the Z end-stop connector without the need to splice the extra needed length.

works well for those who are going to use an npn setup. there are issues with needing more than 6v for sensor. 12v works fine. (the led light to test sensor works at 5v, but the digital logic does not drastically change until over 6v.
