This coupler was designed to transmit rotation from one shaft to another while compensating for small torque fluctuations and some minor misalignment of the shafts being coupled. In that regard, it performed well. My only minor criticism is that in my application the red elastomer coupling/damping material makes a sound that can best be described as a squeak. Not loud, but noticeable. Performance was not affected.
