I used this to mount a 14” China cymbal and it works great! I had to extend the arm out fully, and there was no issue with sturdiness. Gibraltar makes some great stuff!

I use this arm to add another cymbal to a cocktail kit and it works fine

Worked perfect in my application! Dang near infinitely poseable, and quite a bit sturdier than I expected - even after reading the positive reviews I was holding my breath a bit. But, yup, totally happy with it!
