These coupling nuts are machined well, and fit the threads I needed them for, perfectly. Sometimes the first turn on bolts can be "iffy" but each of these had a good fit, the first time.

The pieces with threads are perfect but then there's one with no threads at all. I need two of them too much to do a return. These are kind of expensive to have one that's wasted.

Manufactured a replacement battery holddown clamp for my friend's lawn tractor. The shop lost his and it would be 2 weeks to get a replacement. Some threaded stock, hex nuts, washers and 'coupling nuts' worked fine. Cheaper and faster, too.

It takes a lot of pressure on these nuts to hold a boring chain that is 24" long and these do the job great love them.
