Fits like OEM on my 2003 Jetta 1.8t. Make sure yours doesn't need the oil level sender. If you're not sure it's that indent with the circle on top of the pictured item. That will be on the bottom of your oil pan if you're looking from under your car.

You'll have to throughly clean the manufacturing oils and aluminum prior to install. But it was a perfect fit.

Fit just right at a fraction of the cost of OE or buying it a local parts store. I did buy the gasket instead of using liquid gasket.

The pan fits perfectly on my 2000 gti 1.8t. Picked up a gasket from my local auto parts store for $20 and its been leak free ever since. Picked up the fumoto drain valve with the extension and you'll never have to cause a mess doing your oil changes ever again. For people with a later model 1.8t engine double check that you dont have a provision for an oil level sensor. Also pick up a new gasket for the line that feeds oil to the turbo.
