The fit of this pan matched my OEM oil pan on my 2005 Honda Element. The drain plug is also same hex size and threads. However, there is one big difference. The drain plug on the OEM pan has a reinforcement triangle spot welded to the inside as per OEM. This one does not (see photo). This contradicts the photo in the Amazon description. Further, this drain plug comes with a thinner washer with a rubber inner gasket. The OEM pan uses an aluminum crush washer. My concern is that the inner threaded bore could spin out if too much tightening torque is applied to the drain pan. I never over tighten a drain pan but I see why Honda did that for the OEM pans. I'm in the midst of replacing the engine and I needed a replacement oil pan immediately. I did not notice that there was a stamping defect in the pan as delivered. Caused a big leak so had to remove, buy another oil pan from elsewhere and re-do the job. Returned the pan to Amazon. Don't buy this.

Nice oil pan. Arrived quicklyMake sure you read or watch instructions on how to replace. Our Element could not be changed at home. You have to have the right equipment to replace this pan. So, off to the repair shop.
