Unfortunately I didn't examine the item before tearing my Jeep apart. Upon removing from the box, first thing I noticed was the nut to hold the drain plug was barely welded in. After installing the oil pan and adding oil, it was leaking from the drain plug. Which is when I found that the plug was cross threaded and full of shavings. I had to make it work, but I was not impressed.

Ordered for 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It was 1/3 of the cost than from an automotive parts place and it was the same exact manufacturer and part number. You will need gasket sealant and possibly bolts as it does not come with any of that.

The product is defective. Received with stripped oil plug thread. Paid $200 for installation. Such disappointment.

Does it's job with permatech's black 90 silicone. The change stopped my oil leak. This was a good buy

The pan was good. The oil plug is a different size from oem. The nut weld on the replacement wasn’t as nice as oem but I expect it will be fine. The fit was perfect.
