These strainers work amazing for the urinal they are maid for. I use these in about 5 of the 14 home improvement stores I maintain and they work amazing they collect all the stuff you don’t want in your drains. But beware they aren’t cherry scented like they are described to be. They have no scent. If you want scent you have to buy a scented urinal screen to put on top.

The water will drain a little slower, and don't forget cleaning is still needed under the basket, or you can live with the smell.
