✅ Toto THU9476 Washlet S300/350E Deodorizer Catalyst Small ✅
From the Manufacturer
When it comes to Toto, being just the newest and most advanced product has never been nor needed to be the primary focus. Toto's ideas start with the people, and discovering what they need and want to help them in their daily lives. The days of things being pretty just for pretty's sake are over. When it comes to Toto you will get it all. A beautiful design, with high quality parts, inside and out, that will last longer than you ever expected.

As some others have said, this filter cartridge (THU9476) does indeed fit the K300 Toto washlet. It's thicker than the filter cartridge (THU6072) that comes with the K300, but it still fits. In fact, since it's thicker and probably has more carbon filtration media, I expect it might last a bit longer and do even better filtering odors.Regarding odors, we thought we had a venting problem in the bathroom since we could smell sewer odors but it was actually just that the K300's filter cartridge had gotten too old and needed replacing. So before you go calling a plumber to look for venting problems, change your cartridge. I replace it every 2 years in a bathroom that gets a lot of usage, which is a pretty good lifetime if you ask me.

This filter (THU9476) works just fine on a SW3036R / K300 washlet, and yet Toto lists a completely different filter as a replacement for the SW3036R that cannot be bought anywhere. Anyway, the part that arrived seems to be genuine and it's definitely eliminated the weird after-odor that was coming from the washlet exhaust with the old filter. But also, because it's a bidet that has fans that circulate air that's in, y'know, in and around a toilet, I realize that a filter will only do so much for so long - regardless of how new it is - because stuff is going to waft it's way inside of the fan internals. To that end, I'm just going to do my business, flush, and *then* use the bidet and dryer functions. That way, there's less nastiness wafting around when I run the fan. It's weird to talk about, but if you think about it for a second, it makes sense. Happy bidet'ing, folks!

Not sure why they don’t mention this in the Toto manual, but this charcoal filter needs changed out from time to time. Open the tiny door in the back, pull the old one, and pop this new fresh one in. Perfect for a SW3036.

As noted by others, this cartridge is significantly thicker than the original version that came with our C5. We found that taking a sharp pair of kitchen scissors and trimming the plastic tabs on both sides of the cartridge was sufficient to get it to fit without having to alter the cover that snaps into place. The deodorizer now performs as it originally did.

It fits snuggly in the receptacle. It currently works. The issue I have is that it’s about twice as thick which just throws me off. Yet, it was called out for my seat and appears to work. The original filter lasted less than 6 months and I’m envious of people that said theirs lasted years. Hopefully this one lasts longer.Does it deserve five stars? Maybe. Years from now I’ll know for sure.

I agree 100% with another person's post, so I'm copying and pasting it here, hope there's no plagiarism issues lol.We thought our Toto Washlet needed a deep cleaning because of a bad odor. However, after disconnecting it and cleaning it thoroughly, the odor remained. It turns out, the original filter was so old that it was causing the smell. We switched it out, and now the stench is gone!

This deodorizer is longer than the one included on the Toto C5, but fits perfectly if you trim a useless tab off the inside of the cover. The plus side is there is significantly more catalyst material on this one, so hopefully it also lasts longer. Came in a sealed plastic Toto USA bag but no country of origin listed.

It's the cheapest I could find and it delivers to my home directly for free. And the odor was gone immediately. Just great.

We have our S500e for two years now and saw the decrease of deodorizer strength and I have always wonder why. Until one day I figured out there's a deodorizer catalyst part for the bidet. Then the quest is to find out what's the official part for it, and that's why we place order for this part. It's working as intended and we are very happy with the result

OK if you have a Washlet you know about your secret obsession that you cannot tall anyone about. But let me discuss a delicate subject which is routine maintenence. The Washlet has a built in "air cleaning system" which has been given many rude names but it removes odors from the ah bowl area. Quite effectively I have to say. Eventually however it stops working. The reason is twofold. 1. the Washlet has a small air intake screen modestly out of sight which needs to be cleaned off occasionally. It gets covered with a fine layer of what looks like lint. Now inquiring minds want to know where the heck all this lint comes from but it would take us into a discussion involving indelicate matters. Just clean it. Wear gloves if squeamish. Also in there is this miraculous little activated carbon filter that chemically removes odors but eventually gives it up and just lets them pass along. They way activated carbon works, well Ok, I could write a whole paper here (Im a silicon valley chemist) but suffice it to say its cool. Even more cool is the way they made this. Looks like it was made of cellulose formed into a honeycomb and then carbonized ("burned"- but in a no or limited oxygen furnace). You have to admire somebody who goes to that length for a butt gas filter. Oh. Oh my. I said it. Anyway its worth the price for the engineering. Cheapskates could cut it in half, load it up with their own activated carbon particles and tape it together but it wouldnt be the same. Kind of what is used in space suits. You wouldn't want cheap home made recirculators in your space suit would you?
