All edges and openings are smooth to ensure patient comfort and ease of cleaning. - After use, hang the urinal on a bed rail or stand it on end. The liquid will flow over the baffle and collect at the bottom of the container. - During the second use, the liquid is contained safely away from the patient. To empty, simply turn the urinal handle side down and pour the contents out.

The shape of this urinal is such that it forms a second chamber, which prevents backflow and spillage. I'm a retired nurse, and I've worked with the inexpensive ones the hospital provide and this is a great improvement in design. Work every penny!

I have purchased several different style urinals for my partner who has a problem with setting them down. These urinals are VERY expensive but they are well worth the money. Their more stable and more spill resistant. I would not claim they are spill proof.

This urinal works exactly as advertised. It's effective for the user to urinate in, and also very easy to empty and clean. Shipping was very fast. If you need a better urinal for home care I sure recommend this one.

Well made, solved the night time spillage problem for my family member. No accidents since we bought it. Great price. Have recommended to others, who have the same comments. If it were a little smaller, would warrant five stars.

The urinal itself works well. It would get five stars except for the poor lid, which falls apart quickly. They do provide one extra lid, but really they should sell extra lids. They would be very inexpensive to buy in batches of a dozen. As it is, you have to buy another urinal (and they are expensive) just because the lids wear out.

Much better than the standard urinal, easier to use, less chance of spilling, a little harder to clean. It is harder to transport in my wheel chair. It does hold more without spilling. It is not PEE-perfect, but a very good product.

heavy duty well balanced the baffle system really works the lid seals very tightly (as long as you take care to seal properly) and there is a bonus second lid, i guess so that when that lid wears out you have another one. I've tried one or two other versions and this tops them all
