I got one for me and one for my fishing buddy. These fit in daypacks so easy to get to the waters edge leaving your hands free for carrying camp chair, fishing rod or tackle box.Highly recommend!

If you have dirt or hard packed sand deep enough, it stays put nicely. Adjustable for however you want to hold your rod. Can be difficult to jam it in, but that's true of any rod holder. Been using the pair for a few weeks now, no complaints.

Super nice to use and they hold well in dirt and sand. The only thing I wish they did was either fold or collapse for transporting while hiking to a fishing spot. Pretty dangerous to have solid spikes sticking out while walking on a river bank. I’d still purchase again.
