I like these pole holders. Top quality and durable. Just what I wanted. I hope to do business with this company again in the future.

Used these for the first time. Installed onto Kayak pretty easily with screws. It holds poles and is able to swivel and lock. No gripes. Can be easily removed for the non-fishermen using the kayak.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how solid the construction is for the two rod holders I purchased. The mounting brackets are great and with the inserts pretty flexible for whatever handrails you have on your vessel. The quick release for rotating the holder or removing it works well and is great for stowing the holders so they don't get in the way when birthing and then cleaning the boat.Great piece if kit!

Bought and installed on kayak (rail mount version). Not as easy to install as a scotty mount or similar single t bolt, but far more versatile. I saw a review for scotty mounts stating that they cannot be installed on the left side for Ross because a strong strike will loosen them. I found this to be accurate. This mount, however, will not suffer the same as the torque is not directed at the mounting points. Also the bolts are a tad short. Not a problem, just sourced some marine grade stainless bolts m6 x 35mm.My only issue is that the slot for the spinner handle/baitcaster trigger is a bit narrow at the entrance, making it a bit awkward the place my ugly stik tiger elite rod into the rod holder.Overall very pleased.Tl:dr: good, would buy again. May need to get new bolts. M6 x 25mm

I've never seen a base like this one and I love it. The base fits in the slide rail and can be left in place. All kinds of adjustments for forward, high, low and they're made of quality materials.

I bought this rod holder to try. It is priced lower than most, while provides much better stability when installed on tracks than many. It has 2 anchor bolts spaced ~4 inches apart as opposed to holders that mount with a single T-bolt. After a year, this is my my second purchase for the other side of my kayak. I am absolutely happy with the design, sturdiness, and its functionality. I keep the base attached, and remove the rod holder for transportation. Lock works well to secure it back in place. I hooked several sizeable catfish; this rod holder had no problem managing it (with loosened drag). Recommend.

Well made and easy to install for light to medium tackle - at least in concept.. Arrived in a nice protective package. It is a rather large rod holder when compared to scotty rod holders. Originally I gave this a higher rating but after one use I have downgraded my rating. I have discovered that even though my Bimini railing is within the sizing specification of 7/8”-1” (measured with digital calipers), the base does not stay securely on the railing even after tightening the bolts fully and will move (even with rubber shims and extra two sided thick tape added). Anything heavier than a mini cast system or light gear with very light lures/spoons (such as regular spinning or bait casting rods used for 1-5 Ibs. Fish) will cause the holder to swing and move from its intended position on the railing. The bolts have been tighten to the max but still the mount turns. I will have to look for some heavy duty velcro with sticky glue/tape on one side to see if I can further tighten the base to the railing but as of now it does not work very well. They need to include additional rubber shims/spacers for the mount as the included ones do not work to sufficiently grip the railing. I was trying the first pair with hopes to buy a second pair but I will shop elsewhere.
