The stainless steel spark protector is sturdy, well-made, and fits perfectly over my fire pit, keeping sparks and embers safely contained. The included fire pit sticks are a nice bonus for adjusting logs. It’s easy to install and adds peace of mind while enjoying cozy fires. Highly recommend

Works really well but the two tools that are included to remove the lid are nearly useless.A good pair of gloves or tongs work better

I use my fire pit on the deck alot, and this thing helps eliminate the fear of catching it on fire! It simply sits on the top of the fire pit. The lid fits perfectly and keeps all the sparks on the inside. The build quality is superior to a lot of the other ones on the market now. It's made from very high quality stainless steel, and is thick and very durable. It's extremely easy to install, and works great!!! Awesome product at a fair price! It's worth it just for the safety aspect.

I was looking for something to keep sparks down. This will impact the fire but I feel like it makes it safer if there is a wind.Pricing is easier to take than branded screen.

I tried to see about reaching out to the seller to see if there is any resolution that we can come to before I posted this honest review on this product . I wanted to like it as I just moved and finally set up my back yard and fired up the solo stove for the kiddos to enjoy and after the first use this was the results . I expected the discoloration for obvious reasons but the plate on the top warped and no longer covers the pit correctly. I am sadly disappointed on the purchase

Looks well made, but this is not going function like the actual solo stove shield. I want to return it now that I have seen it. This shield is made of sheet metal and holes are stamped or drilled out of it, which likely means much less heat and oxygen flow. The solo stove brand shield is mesh, so it won't have these issues.

This fit perfectly on my Solo Stove - Bonfire, just make sure you order the correct one. If you’re not sure - measure the diameter - should be close to 19” for the bonfire. I haven’t use it yet, but wanted to leave a review showing that it works for the Bonfire since the other reviews are for the Yukon. I will say, upon initial inspection - appears to be quality stainless steel, and the tools included for lifting the top off also appear to be good quality. What sold me on this one, was that you can use it for cooking over the fire. Last year my wife and I went camping and the only fires allowed were gas fires and solo stove fires, I tried using it to heat up some pre-made burritos, but it was a balancing act and cooked them unevenly, I can’t wait to try this out for cooking food, this should make it much easier. And also a great alternative cooking option in the event of a power outage.

We use our Solo Stove Yukon a lot in the winter, and built a stone surround for it so it's all enclosed. But we live in an area where things are generally pretty dry, and we have lots of trees around and above it, so it's important to keep the sparking contained. I once had a spark fly out and burn holes in my brand new down jacket while sitting several feet from the fire, which was no fun at all! This should really help to keep sparks contained, as it has both side and top coverage. It comes in two pieces, so we can leave the top piece on or off, depending on how sparky the fire gets. We were surprised at how lightweight this set is, it's very easy to lift and set into place, and it comes with two nice-quality tools that can be used to lift and move pieces when they are hot. It fits the Yukon well and looks nice when in place.Apparently you can use the top piece as a cooktop, but we aren't going to be doing that, as we don't cook on our Yukon at home, other than s'mores for the kids. If you take your Yukon camping though (we have a Solo Stove Bonfire for that), then that could be a really handy feature. We are happy with the quality of this set and look forward to using it a lot this winter for safer fireside enjoyment.
