I bought this rack February 2024. I use the rack to haul around 2 aluminum ladders and an aluminum adjustable walk plank. Probably weighing no more 250lbs. The aluminum tubing cracked around the welds. It’s rated for 1000lbs. I would not recommend this product.

I was very surprised by the quality of the rack when I received it. It was also packaged very well. The welds are clean and of high quality. I had a spare boat trailer that I wanted to convert to a gear hauler and my initial idea was was to use T slot aluminum. But the estimates got real expensive real quick, let alone still having to do my own fabricating and finding all the nuts and bolts necessary. Thankfully, after much research and homework, I stumbled on this bad boy and was hesitant because of how low the price was for what you were getting. Those concerns all subsided when I received it and got started on building my gear hauler. The fact that it's aluminum is great, so rust isn't a concern. It's sturdy, great quality, expandable, and has T slots for various aftermarket attachments/anchor points. Initial installation requires a while lot of nuts and bolts, but it is SOLID after everything is lined up and tightened. Make sure to use some thread lock. It's tedious, but you'll be thankful you did.

The rack is well made and sturdy, the finish on is very durable, the welds are neat are well done. There are a lot of bolts to install, but that’s part of what makes it so sturdy. I’m very pleased with the rack and would recommend it to someone else. I think I’ll get years of service from it.
