This unit bolts on the rail of your bed, it fits most trucks as long as you don't mind doing bolting. Again, Bolting means DRILLING HOLES on your truck, please STOP proceeding if you don't intend to make holes on your car.

The P39-MC/RC Series are optional upgrade kit for X39 Series truck rack.

The extension top bars fit all the full size or semi truck beds. Top Bar Extension: Min: 41" Max: 61" Product Height: 30.5" to the top, 28" to the top cross bar.
The upright plate is a flat L-shape base which has FIVE drilling holes for flexible installation and you only pick two that fits your truck; and yes, we provide all bolts and nuts in the hardware package for installation.
As of now, some compatibilities cases we have heard are:
1. Some tool boxes, camper shells & Tonneau covers will affect the installation of this unit;
2. Bed rail top made of fiberglass instead of metal for some rare truck models like F-150 super-cab, customers complaint it not sturdy for heavy-duty purpose after making holes;
3. There are track system installed on the inner bed-wall which blocked our mounting plates;
4. Bed width is too small for the minimum extension of 51".

Good truck rack. There was some cons.. the package is heavy so it gets beat up during shipping. A hole was formed and one of the tubes and some hardware fell out. I checked against the parts list when I first received it and reached out to the manufacturer and told them what I was missing. They shipped the parts out to me.Everything went together pretty well. needed a second person to help with a few things during install. There were a few scratches that probably happened during shipping: I'd recommend either touch up paint or finding somewhere local to buy a rack. I put this on my work truck and it looks great!

Zoooming sound over the cab now, I guess that’s part of having a rack.Rust is showing coming out of the rack after recent rains , leaking rusty water.Rattling has begun a month in.Would not buy again.

This rack has been on my 2010 Toyota Tundra for about a week, and I can't help but smile at how sharp it looks every time I see it! Assembly and installation were simple, and I did it almost entirely by myself in a couple hours.I wanted a rack that was lightweight enough that I could remove it from time to time. The custom-fabricated steel racks I've had in the past were too heavy for this, so I looked at aluminum ones this time. But all were either incredibly expensive or seemed to have major issues. But this steel rack only weighs a little over 100 lbs and was priced very affordably, so I decided to give it a shot. Very happy that I did. Rather than drilling, I used two sets of the AA-Racks P-AC(4)-09 Aluminum C-Clamps to attach it to my bed, which seem more than adequate.Only two minor concerns: the cross-member tubes don't seem to fit well inside of the outer sleeve tubes, with a lot of slop, though this was mostly fixed when I tightened everything down. And the junction plates where everything attaches together are rather un-aerodynamic, which will increase drag and possibly wind noise. But so far, I haven't noticed a significant amount of noise. For now, I'm going to enthusiastically recommend this rack!

Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like someone blowing across the opening on a coke bottle as you're driving down the road.I'm 99% sure it's from the gap in the tubes on the cross piece at the front. I'm going to try filling the gap with JB weld to see if that removes the noise. Wish me luck.Other than that. The rack works well. It does have some very bright white stickers on it that's kinda annoying. A little elbow grease and goo be gone took it off.I installed mine using the optional clamps you can buy. I put 2 clamps on each 'foot' of the rack. I'm also using a cargo lift to take the rack on/off the back of the truck when I'm not using it.I was able to install the rack by myself in about an hour. I only followed the directions enough to make sure I was putting the correct bolts in the correct location. Working alone means I did some of the steps out of order because I didn't have a second set of hands to hold one part while I bolted another.I've used the rack a few times to carry large pieces of lumber that won't fit in the bed of the truck. It's held it well and did not shift while driving down the road. Eventually I'll be modifying the rack to hold kayaks. I think it will work well for that.

I’ve never been more satisfied in a product in the last several years! The cost is very reasonable; I couldn’t fabricate a rack for much less than I paid for this one. It is very well fabricated, the welds are seamless. The tube structure makes it strong. The rack is extremely modifiable. It makes a work truck look good. It has a lot of functionality. Installed on a ’16 Toyota Tacoma. Bolted rear supports just before the bed as it starts to curve slightly, therefore it’s not ideally installed to the furthest rear of the bed rail. Only used 2 outer bolts on each support; the inside metal bed rail is not there on this type of bed for all the bolts to be installed. The rack is well supported and solid with the 2 bolts in each support. To install the bolts, the inner fender wells and the 2 in-bed storage boxes should be removed. The best way to remove the inner fender well grommets is to slice the heads off and punch them out. The grommets can’t be saved. I suggest you buy the Fender Grommets from Amazon (30 ea for $12) at the same time you order this rack. My truck bed is 5’, and coupled with the amount I had to shorten the rack due to the bed rail curve, the rack had to be modified (Shorten), which was easily done by cutting the slide sections shorter. It was an easier install than I had originally thought. For the rails over the cab, a 2nd person would’ve been ideal. Again, I’ve never been more satisfied in a product in the last several years!
