Works great. I have a keyboard, mouse, and webcam connected to this device, and the device connected to two computers; a MacBook Pro and a Dell laptop. It works perfectly for switching between the two at the press of a button. I am not using the auxiliary power input, and it still powers the webcam just fine.

It was really easy to set up. I plugged one port into my Macbook's dock and the other into a desktop. With just a press of the button I can quickly swap between my Mac and my PC, there is only a slight delay of a few seconds after the press before it starts working, but besides that it works great. I was even able to hook up a power cable to it so I can charge things using it too. It's small and fits very nicely on my desk as well. The light signaling which source its hooked up to is a bit dim so it can be difficult to tell at a glance what source it is, but its not much of a problem because its pretty obvious where its connected when you try to use a peripheral and it doesn't work until you press the button to switch sources.

It works well as described -- when I have both of my computers up and running it'll seamlessly switch between the two, which helped me de-clutter my desk by removing one set of keyboard/mouse. However, one issue is that when one computer goes into sleep mode, when I switch over to it it will not wake up as if the keyboard/mouse were plugged in. I have to manually start the computer by hitting the power button on it to wake it up, then the keyboard/mouse work.

I’m genuinely impressed by the quality of this switch, especially considering how affordable it is. It feels well-made and performs exactly as advertised. I own several other KVM and various types of switches, but none have worked as seamlessly as this one. It consistently registers both mouse and keyboard inputs accurately, with no noticeable delay, which is crucial for my workflow, given how much I type and rely on my mouse. This switch has been a game-changer for managing my work and personal setups. It keeps one monitor active across both my work docking station and home PC, allowing me to switch between devices instantly to game, study, or get work done. I highly recommend it—it’s a fantastic deal at this price!

Like many people lately, I've got to use a work laptop at home, alongside my own personal computer. With two monitors to share and a keyboard/mouse/webcam to share as well, I bought this little USB switching hub. It allows 4 devices to be shared between two computers. The single button will switch from machine 1 to machine 2. Switching takes around 3.5 seconds.Major big plus: it works. All the time. As expected. No need to reboot "once in a while". Devices always get detected. No perceptible input lag when gaming (I ain't pro gamer though!). One of the reasons I chose USB 2.0 is that I suspected it would help "just working, all the time". So far so good. One computer is a Ryzen 7 machine, the other is a corporate Lenovo Thinkpad with a Thunderbolt dock.Only con is that you end up routing a lot of cables (five cables for three devices/two computers), all on your desk so you can reach the button on the box. I routed everything under my 32" main monitor, so it works out well, but it may be challenging if you wish a clean empty desk...So at the end, definitely recommended if you are looking for a simple, no frill way to share up to four devices between two machines.(for those curious why not a total KVM solution? Sharing two monitors require six more cables (2 per machines + to the actual monitors), that would have ended as a real cable mess behind the desk! Most monitors will sport several inputs, and it is actually possible to switch input _from the computer OS_ for most monitors)

This is a lot easier on the eyes than my old ioGear KMV. I like having the two additional USB ports, but there are two things that really disappoint the hell out of me for my needs. 1) it cant wake my Windows 10 machine. Nothing I do will wake it up with the KMV attached. 2) it doesn't have even close to enough power to drive my crappy little Sound BlasterX DAC/AMP. I know that one was just wishful thinking, but I thought with the added power being supplied it would at least be able to drive my speakers enough that it wouldn't be a painful experience (when the DAC/AMP doesn't get enough consistent power, my speakers scream at full volume when I which from one machine to another). It has been working well otherwise and being a much cleaner solution than my old (and ugly) ioGear KMV, I will be keeping it and looking further into this wake problem. Perhaps this one is a lemon? Because it doesn't seem like many other people have this problem.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and trying to get it to work right, I have concluded that this thing is a piece of trash. I have gotten two of these and they both have the same issues. on the mac, I get constant errors in my console, the AMPDevixceDiscoveryAgent cant see this thing properly, giving me disconnect error every few seconds, they aren't all the same, it's about 5-7 different connect errors. And quite often I will have to plug and unplug to get it to work at all. And my PC has never been able to re-establish a connection with it after the button is pressed to switch over to the other device. So I have to get up, go over to my pc and wake it before my kb and mouse will work. And I've tried this on two completely different PCs. With their Bios set to default. My old switch didn't have any of these problems. Also, the issue with power is still a thing, if I have more than 2 devices connected to this thing, both computers will crash as soon as they go to sleep. Such a piece of garbage...

I use this to share my keyboard (Eagletec 10keyless backlit), mouse (Razer Deathadder Chroma), wireless numberpad, and my wireless Logitech G930 headphones with....1 chromebookand1 microPC being used as a Shadow PC streaming box. With that said, I have not noticed any noise coming from this unit, as one reviewer noted. It is completely silent. I also like how it combines 4 usb inputs and sends them to 2 systems on only one usb output each, therefore using only 1 of the usb ports on each receiving computer. As other reviewers noted, while there is ZERO input lag while you are using this, I do experience lag when I am switching. I don't know if that is the fault of the unit itself or the systems I am switching to-- my micoPC has a good 3 or 4 seconds on unresponsiveness when I first switch, but my chromebook only experiences 1 or 2 seconds. Also, while this unit does not require power if you are only using a simple keyboard and mouse, I also have a 7.1 surround headset plugged in, so I have to provide additional power via a micro-usb cable. If you don't do this, the unit simply does not work because it does not have sufficient power. While there is no keyboard hotkey for switching, it is very small (credit card sized) and very light, so I just have it mounted with some 3M command strips to the underside of my desk, right in front. So I just reached down and hit the button to switch between systems.
